Is it obvious? Yes. Am I disappointed? No. You somehow manage to make even the lowest quality of memes entertaining and eye pleasing.

I love how everybody has unanimously come to the opinion that this ai is just a really chill person trying to get their job done and then sonic just comes in bulldozing through

They haven't attacked Sonic (directly?) in any of the trailers or anything,
For all we know Sonic is just being an annoying tourist running around their island causing trouble while exploring everything

Definitely looks better.
Boss fights look pretty good. And progressively increasing your speed as you lvl in an openworld also looks like a cool concept.
But I was never a fan of 3D Sonic games. My favorite one is colors that's mostly 2D 😆
All that guard rail sliding is like watching a cutscene with QTEs to me. The springs also super don't work in 3D as they do in 2D because you never know where the heck you're going so you can't plan anything.
Playing 3D sonic from a 4D perspective would be pretty cool maybe lol
Lmao I'm sure it'll be the same sonic cycle.
Sonic Team isn't capable of making good games, but I'll enjoy the trashfire when fans start getting their hands on it.

Sonic’s art and music has always been amazing, they’re just having a perpetual crisis about gameplay, direction, branding and development time
Sage is so funny to work with. She’s gonna learn just like Knuckles that Sonic visits islands (and can trespass) a lot
Can't arrest him either. He'll just break out of the transport and use scraps of it to "snowboard" down a busy road.

When sonic said "Its frontiering time" and began to colonize sages island. That was the moment to happen in the game.

Pretty much Sums up the Beginning of Frontiers 🤣
A developer for Sonic: Lost World once told me that before they could implement pretty much any feature, it had to go past SEGA's "Sonic Council" in Japan (who were in a different timezone), so they could decide if that was "something Sonic would do." They were absurdly fickle, and would repeatedly backtrack on decisions (both for and against features) multiple weeks after they'd already been implemented/scrapped.
This is why pretty much EVERY Sonic game for quite a while there seemed so buggy and unfinished.
Luckily SEGA has _reportedly_ become less obsessive over Sonic's brand nowadays, so hopefully Sonic Team will have been able to see a vision through to the end without SEGA's meddling.
To be completely honest, I was not expecting that at all lol
