Man I miss the LAW, that being said, I love that the two of you have created such an incredible brand to be proud of.

The closest thing to the law now is a podcast/radio show called McGuire on Wrestling hosted by a friend of theirs named Mike McGuire. Mouth is on there a lot, and it really is exactly the same format, including with Melzer. Between the two, this, and that, you get everything you need.

I used to listen to the LAW online every week for years. There was a brief period where they weren't able to stream in America because of a court decision that got reversed but barring that I listened weekly for years. Mike Tenay is a friend of my dad's and Zane Bresloff was a family friend so I became aware of Dave Meltzer and I started listening because of him. It was called The Wrestling Observer Extra and they had a clip of "It's Vader Time" in the intro. I quickly fell in love with it
One of the former hosts who isn't on this channel was a bit of an ass to me once so I wasn't a fan of his. He claimed that Riki Choshu invented the Scorpion Deathlock. This is a widely held misconception but in fact he popularized it. He was not the first to use it. The earliest example I could find was The Blue Demon doing it but I think there's someone before him too. I should ask Tenay. He might know. Trust me, that man knows his lucha. So anyway, I emailed him and told him this obscure fact and he told me something to the effect of "Yeah. That's why I said he might have invented it but I wasn't sure." I admit I was slightly snarky in my return email but I told him "Well no, you actually didn't. Here's the timestamp. You stated it as a fact. That was wrong. So now you have the info you need to share the real facts. Hopefully you correct it on air. Thanks!" He never wrote back nor corrected the record. So I'm not a fan of his. His reaction to a respectful correction was just uncalled for. So not big on him
I do love all the others tho and I have been watching POST since almost day one, tho I didn't subscribe or comment for a while for some reason. I got a kick out of Wai especially back then (Wai doesn't tell jokes often but when he does he's hilarious) so this channel was a blessing, so to speak. I can't afford to subscribe to the extra stuff but I would happily listen to them talk about just about anything. I absolutely consider this channel the spiritual continuation of the LAW. I have no problem saying that at all

This is why POST Wrestling has so much credibility in this space. Their professionalism really stands out in a world full of second-rate, clickbait wrestling news media. It's great to see a company be so consistent with their journalistic and ethical standards.
I also appreciate how honest and thoughtful their reviews are -- they praise and criticize shows based on content, rather than simply working backwards from "I don't like X company, so everything they do is terrible". They actually provide insightful and unbiased commentary which is quite refreshing. I'm left being more informed by their work than merely "entertained" for audience capture sake. This extends to the incredible work Brandon Thurston does, as well. His work is unparalleled in this space.
I've been a satisfied Patreon subscriber of POST Wrestling since day 1 of their launch, and will continue doing so because of the quality of their work.
Keep up the admirable work, guys. ✌️

Never knew you were involved with TNA/Anthem...You guys are doing great work and the only "RUclips" News channel I use regularly. Hopefully once my channel has become more consistent, I will support financially. I think the real Matt Morgan of TNA fame, commented that he enjoyed my latest video on Cody Rhodes..so maybe that will be sooner than later. Keep up the great work!

They never were involved with TNA, it was because Anthem bought out the Fight Network. Sad times.

I’m glad that I found out about both John and Wai by listening to the LAW. But super grateful that John and Wai had gone in their own direction, with more freedom by creating Post Wrestling. You guys are my go to Canadian wrestling peeps for years! And more to come. 🙌🏽

Of the crew from Live Audio Wrestling from the 2010's, John Pollock and Wai Ting are the only 2 that are still talking about Pro Wrestling on a Regular Basis on a Radio or Podcast Form as Dan Lovranski and Jason Agnew have moved on from Sunday Night's Main Event.

I always thought Agnew was good. I always loved Lovranski. The Mouth used to geek out over Motorhead all the time. I remember a couple shows where he'd just seen them and talked about the show. I loved how Jericho used to spit out "Lovranski!" like he had personal beef with him. Those were fun segments

I think the situation really says more about Anthem's understanding about the property they owned in TNA and how also owning another property in 'Live Audio Wresting' that covered wrestling news was such a non-factor.

@@williandalsoto806the LAW is back on SMNE Channel. The host said that none of old hosts nor the fight network itself ever trademarked the name or copyrighted the ip, so they bought it. Apparently he was one of the original guys before Jason, mouth, and the post guys, so I guess it it’s fitting he ended back in charge.

I think there's a lot more value in POST Wrestling now. The LAW was fantastic but it's dead. It's been dead for years. POST has built a lot of credibility and is beloved among its fans such as myself. I don't even watch the shows anymore but I still mostly keep up with them. Especially after the McMahon/Grant reporting I don't think a rebrand would be beneficial and I think it would be a negative overall. Even as LAW
