How to Clean Air Jordan 1 Shadow 2.0 With Reshoevn8r

- Jordan is back! We know you missed her, so we invited her teach a class on how to clean the Air Jordan 1 'Shadow 2.0' using our RESHOEVN8R Essential Kit.
If you’ve been here before, you know the first step - remove those laces and insert the adjustable shoe tree! A shoe tree will help your kicks keep their shape throughout the cleaning process and will allow you to put additional pressure on the toe box when scrubbing for those deeper stains.
As Jordan points out, the original Jordan 1 ‘Shadow’ was comprised of mostly tumbled leather, but the 2.0’s contain nubuck, making this clean a bit more high maintenance. When cleaning suede or nubuck it’s important to coat the shoe evenly and to not oversaturate any given area. An uneven coat of water and solution can lead to discoloring, and over-saturation can lead to colors bleeding or fading.
After a pass on the uppers using the soft bristle brush, Jordan noticed some deeper stains that required some medium bristle brush attention on the toe cap, back heel, and midsole. After wiping the shoe down, there was still some deeper stains visible on the midsole, so Jordan broke out the rough and tough stiff bristle brush and got to work.
When wet, it can be tough to tell if suede and nubuck are completely cleaned, so Jordan allowed the Shadow to sit in the Arizona sun to dry. Unfortunately the shoe had water spots visible in the nubuck after drying, so Jordan gave it one more light, even-coated pass on the uppers and we were as good as new! I'm a huge shoe guy from way back in the 80's, and I believe there's amazing content you guys can do besides the Jordan's and Nike's and Adidas.
Vintage shoes from the old Patrick Ewing brand shoes, British Knights, Reebok Pumps, maybe repairing a broken Nike Air Pressure, maybe create your own versions of old Stan Smith's or Superstar shoes. Why not make Retro Thursdays, or Flashback Fridays? Spice things up a little bit. Maybe even raffle off to customize a followers shoe with your guys own take on your own version of the design? Just throwing it out there, as I love watching your show. Don't get me wrong, as I love my Jordan's but it's getting quite repetitive that I can't afford to finish the whole video anymore. You guys are amazing, but I think this will bring you guys to a different level.

Speaking of nubuck, any tips on how to repair nubuck? I have the D. Rose 2.5 St. Patty's and I have a tear now. I used sandpaper to try to fix but made the problem worse.
Tears in any material for the most part cannot be fixed.
These shadows 2.0 are my first pair of nubuck Sneakers so ove looking for how tp clean them would you say the dry suede kit/brass brush is a must and if so when should I use them?
BTW u already have the essential cleaning kit pretty much asking if that's enough or I need more?
The Brass Brush and Dry Suede Kit are great for bringing back the nap of the nubuck and make it soft again!

Yes you definitely can! But if the suede isn't as soft as you'd like then you can use the brass brush.
