Cindy Blackman is one of the GOATS! She belongs right up there with Tommy Aldridge and Alex Van Halen and a few others. Saw her back in 2006 when Lenny Kravitz opened for Aerosmith and she blew me away. Waaay super talented!

I went to Berklee with her, never played her cuz she was always playing with the big guns there, but heard her a few times. Wonderful drummer, steeped in the tradition.

I think her drum kit is a Gretsch USA Custom with maple shells. They sound very nice !!
