This may be my favorite song off "The man from Waco" album. A lost Bob Dylan song that Charley was able to make into something special indeed! I sure can't wait for this alt version.

Great cover of Dylan's 1973 song. From the movie (and record) "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid". Starring Kris Kristofferson, James Coburn, Slim Pickens and a host of other great characters.
Bob Dylan himself plays Alias. No gunslinger Bob. Ya gotta catch his knife throw in the fight. Maybe Charley Crocket will cover "Knockin' on Heaven's Door. On the same Dylan album and also in the movie. Movie directed by the great Sam Peckinpaw. Thanks Charlie. You're making us all proud. Love your songs, stories, videos, voice and style.

Haha It's just awe inspiring seeing the "thing" happen to someone who was once in such proximity. It's really cool. He's earned every bit of the success he has achieved and so more.

I love this song I’m a descendant of pat garrett lol I love charley Crockett. I’ve been a big fan since I heard his motel time again cover back two years ago I was listening to Johnny paycheck and his version came came up, and I was also live in hotels. I also played guitar and I sang also and Charley Crockett has been on my playlist since then, I’ve been inspired by him in so many ways for me he kept my dream alive while I was living in hotels working my way up. Thank you man.
