GM Sam Shankland is an opening specialist and is respected by professional Chess playery for authering many ideas. For example,GM Danya refers to "Sam Shankland Question"...it is not a viable move but what If play it?

I don’t understand how Eric can reach heart rates that I only reach when running hard intervals.
He’s really putting his mind to work and his calm demeanour must hide a raging mind going over many ideas and positions in just a couple of seconds.

Because it’s virtually impossible for older players to become GM
Eric would have to quit streaming and travel the world for the next 3-4 year just to get his otb rating up to GM level and then he would still have to pick up norms along the way.
Look at Levy (Gotham chess) he’s actively trying right now and failing .

    That Rh3 kinda reminds me of the new famous scotch line: 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 exd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nxc6 bxc6 6. e5 Qe7 7. Qe2 Nd5v8. h4!? and there are some aggressive Rh3-e3-b3 manuevers, what can be really annoying and a7 is weak. It's a good opening to crush masters, especially if they play f6 or d6 and you're good at positional style, as you have a slight advantage
