Please don't go to the salon. You've reached waist length-hip length without a professional. Alot of salons cut off to much bc they can lack experience with type 4 hair
It's way more plausable that they cut off the amount of hair they do because the ends are dead. Health is more important than length. I don't think its fair to denounce professionals when there are plenty of educated and passionate hairdressers that are capable of providing proper care for all hair types.
@@liltawna12345I understand and agree with your. On the other hand, there are stylist who still make mistakes and take off more hair than what's necessary. Ultimately it her choice im just staring my opinion for whatever it's worth. I went to a professional twice and she did a good trim but I was left with heat damage. To each their own.
@@naturalhairkhronicles5790 I understand that! Still, every hair type has their own salon horror stories. It’s not just us, we’re just the only ones that sort of write salons off. There are so many educated certified professionals that have been working for decades. To people without the training, it can look like stylists cut a lot, but in reality we’re sometimes unaware of the extent of the damage. I’d love to see her hair with a professional press & trim
I have to agree. Going to a salon isnt a bad idea but i think she's gotten to the point that she's figured it out how to mantain long and healthy hair. She could blow it out herself and cut maybe 2 inches or so to get rid of any thinning or splits. I really do feel the salons often cut too much and often cause heat damage...alot people who go to salons all the time don't grow their hair out this long because they keep getting too much hair trimmed off often.
@@mistycat9615 I agree with you well said. I've heard youtubers like idgenouz strands talk about excessive trimming. She has knee length hair.
I love your videos! I feel like you are so relatable and calm which are two things I really look for in natural hair videos. I want to congratulate you on you taking these huge steps out of your comfort zone when it comes to your hair!! I will be trying to step out of my comfort zone this new year too so please continue to being the amazing person that you are 💞💞
I be so happy when you post 😂 you’re the only real RUclipsr out here
She's real and we love her, but she isn't the ONLY real youtuber.
@@JazzyB9481 care to share a few stink? I genuinely need more
Looks beautiful!!!
I literally just searched this style up yesterday and today youtube recommends this. The internet never fails to amaze me. Your hair looks so cute. Can't wait for my beads to come on Saturday
It turned out really good😍... I add hair for the thickness not really for length. Our hair plays tricks on us.. it appears thicker until you blow it out and either twist or braid it individually.
I love that idea of a New Year every 6 months!!
The style turned out great. I totally understand with wanting to try new things, me too.
I love it! ❤️ This hairstyle looks so pretty on you. As for leave ins: I use the Texture ID styling creme as a leave in and it keeps my hair moisturized for days
These are beautiful great job 😍❤️
I’m sorry to hear that you had received bad news. I hope all is well and God bless.😘🦋
A new Season!!! You just said it at the end
I like that, starting your new year every 6mths to reach your goals. I don’t know if you like to read, but there’s a book called the 12 week year that kind of talks about a similar concept, it’s pretty interesting. Also I love your hair it turned out really nice 😍, I’m trying to grow mine out too 😅.
The twists look very nice. I hope you are feeling better.
Yes!! I wanna see more styless💅🏾
I love the jewels!! I had some 3 years ago I defo wanna do it again!
I really like it, it's just simply amazing! Goes really well with ur skin tone like u said, very well done, the gold accessories bring out the beauty more aswell!! It's great!!
@9:15 • If you are having that feeling in your heart, that is your intuition (or you've at least been noticing signs of mistreatment towards others). I believe when you have gut reactions like this, you should never ignore them. There's nothing wrong with allowing someone else to do something for you, but you must trust them first. Find someone you trust to do this for you (instead of just some random individual) and then you'll be okay. 🙂
You Look Great As Always Though ❤️❤️☺️
GORGEOUS!!!
I’m excited to see the different hairstyle challenge, I think you should try some with fake hair too, like the box braids with the curl outside.
It looks soooo good, and the girl, I follow her, she definitely has hair added, so don't worry
A new chapter!
The Camille rose curlaide moisture butter is great on my 4c hair! I used to use the same tgin cream as you but I swapped it out for this and I’ve been loving it. I’ve been using it on my hair when it’s like 90% dry and then seal with avocado oil. It has my hair feeling soft and bouncy for days. Definitely recommend it
That curlaide butter is definitely top tier!
How funny, I did the same exact hairstyle on my hair this past weekend! Except I didn’t read the roots I did beats as well
Always good to see you and I love the beads on your hair.
very pretty style.
Please don’t go to the solan specially if it’s for a trim they be cuttin outta spite
I feel like if you did some decent research on trimming and got some good hair scissors you be good cuz solans on something different trimming = a whole a$$ haircut
Also would you ever try bubble braids? They would look so cute on ur hair I think
I was thinking the same
this is soooo pretty
Looking awesome. Great job 😊
It looks really cute ❤
Hello @Natural Academia : I have a question. In one of your videos, you mentioned there's an alternative hair moisturizer to the TGIN daily moisturizer others can try if TGIN is too heavy. Can you please tell me what moisturizer that is? Unfortunately, I can't remember which video it was where you mentioned it so I can find it again. Thank you in advance and hope all is well on your end! Take care and stay safe.
Beautiful ❤️ 😍 🤩
It's real cute!!
Yea, if you went to a salon, they would likely want to trim your hair. Some form of tapering is normal. However, Your twists get really thin at the ends and that is usually a sign of damage.
About to do this on neck length hair. Real hair forthe win!
@9:49 • Half-Year Achievements! / New Half-Year! 🤞🏼🍀
The girl in picture she added braiding hair
