Not trying to tell you how to take your journey, but i think I have some tips that might be helpful!! PURPLE SWEETS. Buy like 200+ and then at any point in the caves, you can just run around a corner and have infinite food. The sweets also give run energy back. Only other thing, is that rcb and diamond bolts with a shield would give you way more consistent accuracy and defense, making the kill more comfortable. Oh, and if you want, during the waves, whenever youve killed everything except the fat mage froggy boi, you could learn to flick mage pray to save on pray pots and ensure that youre comfortable during jad.
there is nothing wrong with being "credit card warrior" just keep doing things you like doing in the game and don't listen the elitists. fire cape isn't that massive of an upgrade that you need to destroy your interest to the game because of it, get it when you feel comfortable to get it. i myself got my first ever fire cape with much better stats than what you have, and it still took me like 10+ attempts.
Yeah it really broke me to the point of almost keyboard snapping and no game should make you feel like this, I tried my best and time to move on. And I agree who cares how you get your gold just enjoy the game
Ive swapped a lot from rs3 to osrs! Every transaction was super simple. But you'll get it one day! Easiest way is lure the healers away from jad and kill them off before going back to jad, that's how I've always done it
@@lasersharks Yeah you can do lower ranged, but that usually involves using the safe spots a lot to take a lot less damage and save on prayer. 85 should be a breeze
when I started playing Rs3 back with the SIck nerd wave I swapped 200m for 1b, a rate of 1:5, months later i think it was around OSRS leagues 3 release it fell to 1:10 and it was like 1:16 when tombs of amascut came out earlier this year
thats where im at with firecape atm lol, limited play time dont wanna waste it all to die to jad LOL should see how many people i trigger training slayer with a crafting skill cape :)
@@lasersharks yeah for sure, rune (or dragon ones are getting quite cheap now) with diamond bolts (e) (or diamond dragon bolts (e) if u get the dcb) will be a lot more consistent, blowpipe with amethysts still great for waves it struggles on the mage bois and jad
3:45 This is why I call BS when I look at Settled's video where he does it with a bone crossbow. A BONE CROSSBOW. I tried that once for the lulz with 99 ranged and couldn't kill anything, the accuracy on it is horrible.
If you have an hour there's two good kinda safe spots that mitigate most of the damage of the waves. And if you are lucky you can poison had then run behind a rock till healers then lure them back and take em out for a cheap win.
I personally don't like credit card warriors at BA since they tend to have Bandos armor and whip to fill attacker role. They don't know what is going on and tend to make a run of queen run upwards of 45min. Outside of that, they are usually fine. Just fun to spot them.

i play both games i dont even have fire cape and did mm2,ds2 and song of the elves. legit most of my life now is in gaunlet.

I'm pretty sure I did it at like 85-90 ranged. Grinding at the ol' crabs and nightmare zone helped a lot.

thats rough man you totally would have had it with pre nerf blowpipe, its accuracy is really terrible nowadays.

I had to get 85 range to get gud rng on jad, took me 12 tries for my first cape..
i got a firecape with 71 range lol sucks and takes forever but its not hard anymore
