I agreed with you! It was so much fun riding on these buses, I wish they can restore the 1989 and 91 MCI Classics, 1993 Nova Classic, the 1990 and 92 New Flyer D40HF buses.
Dinan Ilunga 9318, 9035, 9715, two unknown 1991 Classics, 8958, and another 1989 Classic are possibly still at a Quebec scrapyard (they were there in 2015, I don't know if they're still there) and they look relatively intact! If someone buys one and puts enough time into it, we could see one back on the road.
Yep, that's the 1987 GMC/MCI Classic transit bus that has the powertrain consist of the Detroit Diesel 6V71N engine with the Allison V-731 3 speed transmission.
