The youthful images pairs well with the youthful tone throughout the piece and yet there is still much to uncover with re-listens just as the EXO members themselves can surprise us EXO-ls with their ad-libs and expressions while performing. This made me nostalgic not only for Growl era EXO, but my high school orchestra days. I love how this arrangement didn't focus on being 100% faithful to the original, which is what a lot of orchestral arrangements of pop songs try to do. There's nothing wrong with the usual arrangements, but there are songs that translate better to an orchestral arrangement than others (and I have an inkling Growl wouldn't be one of those songs). This arrangement managed to bring out the familiar parts of a well-loved song while also showing off grandiosity that a full orchestra is capable of, and I just...ugh, I love it!

But one fine day, when i came home from school and opened facebook (instagram didnt exist), first thing everyone saw was SM suddenly uploading XOXO teaser photos. The whole fandom flipped and went crazy, definitely a nostalgic moment for me. 2013 was such a memorable year for Exo Ls and looking back makes me so happy! Queen GROWL Forever! Ps.
