    Ingredients
    200 grams of flour
    1 tablespoon starch
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1 tablespoon yeast
    A pinch of salt
    A cup and a quarter of warm water
    Diameter
    2 cups of sugar
    2 cups of water
    3 cardamom pods
    A tablespoon of lemon juice
    How to prepare:
    Diameter:
    In a saucepan over medium heat, put the sugar and water and stir until the sugar dissolves.
    Add lemon juice and orange blossom water (optional) and leave it to boil for 10 minutes.
    We remove the syrup from the heat and leave it to cool.
    Dough:
    In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar and salt.
    Gradually add warm water, kneading continuously until a smooth and pliable dough is formed.
    Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for an hour or until it doubles in size.
    Frying:
    Place the dough in a piping bag with a suitable opening
    Place the dough balls in the hot oil and fry them until they become golden.
    Remove the dough balls from the oil and place them on dry paper to get rid of excess oil.
    Submission:
    Dip the lokmat al-Qadhi balls into the cold syrup and serve them
    advice:
    Make sure the water is warm but not hot, otherwise the yeast will die.
    You can add 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder to the dough to make the qadhi bite more fluffier.
    Orange blossom water or rose water can be added to the syrup to add a distinctive flavour.
    Lokmat Al Qadhi can be decorated with nuts or pistachios.
