The Crosstrek is more versatile than ever equipped with the new 2.5L engine and dual-function X-mode! Go for the Subaru Crosstrek Outdoor or Sport! You will like it! #subarucrosstrek #crosstrek #crosstreksport #crosstrekoutdoor
Excellent quality report/footage/foliage! For it's ground clearance, low fuel consumption with the CVT (better than some competitor small SUV FWD)that gives hybrid mileage on the highway, is the perfect car for Canada, and the north eastern/western U.S.A. The eyesight is excellent (will not work on snow covered roads, or if the lane markings from water based latex road paint have disappeared). On a recent road trip to the beautiful Gaspe region of Quebec, I was impressed by the number of Crosstrek, Forester, and Outback on the breathtaking/spectacular route 132! I just wished that Subaru would make LEDhadlight's standard like Toyota and other brand's now. -:)
I need 1- auto front camera 2- use my ears to know how far I am from objects around 3- cold seats 4- cold gloves box 5- cold center console 6- remember me changing the Liquids every specific distance/time without resetting every time 7-brake wear sensor important for eyesight 8- combined carbon with AC FILTER + HEPA FILTER 9- auto reset fuel after refill the tank like Elantra 10- cool/heat the doors by duct from AC like Mercedes
I like it. Great car for Québec. Four wheel drive (est qu'on dit toujours quatre roux motrice?), good engine, very safe. Reliable brand. Reasonable price.
J'adore votre canal.
Where the 2.5 shines over the 2.0 is hills. The 2.5 has good low-end torque and can keeps the revs lower than the 2.0. Subaru should ditch the FB20 and only offer the FB25.
That actually seems like a pretty good idea, if it costs similar for Subaru to put into a Crosstrek. The 2.5L even rates better MPG hwy, so why would they continue bothering with the 2.0L?..Unless some other parts are more expensive (trans, mounts, intake/exhaust, etc.) Otherwise, it'd seem like gouging.
Next gen Crosstrek are coming soon. I don’t think upgrading with the 2.5 worth it for current generation of Crosstrek owner. Still interesting for someone looking for light off-road.
Le gros choix. ..CVT avec plus de force ou MANUELLE avec moins de chevaux et moins de gadgets..merde je déteste avoir à faire le choix. Toi tu ferais quoi?
I have had 13 Subaru's since 2006 and the last two were Crosstreks. More power is a good thing, but Subaru started supporting something I don't believe in(LGBT), so good by Subaru! I just traded in my 2019 Crosstrek for a Ford Ranger. I feel that they used the money I have spent over the years to donate to something I feel is morally apprehensible when Subaru gave to the "William Way LGBT Community Center"
Well, I'm not sure how to react to that..... still I'm sad to read that. Subaru has the right to believe in whatever they want. It's a private company, you can do what you want, but to write that here.... I'm kind of deceived and I hope you might want to edit that. Otherwise, love or hate Subaru, they are really engaged in a lot of good causes. Sports, rehabilitated dog, kids and more. I hope one day you would consider that also.

You shall retry this one in winter. It’s just jaw dropping how fast and agile it is in slippery snowy conditions with hood winter tires.
Just had our first snowfall and - wow, it was like a snow leopard on the trail! 🐆🔥🔥🔥
Man or man the foliage is beautiful!
Foliage or footage? :P
@@CarQuestion Both! nice review!
@@aaasssppp123 Thanks!!!
You need to test that one in the snow with the 2.5 it’s simply amazing!

I just bought LED lights to replace the incandescent bulbs. Waiting for both the lights and my new Crosstrek! On the train somewhere across Canada.
I need
1- auto front camera
2- use my ears to know how far I am from objects around
3- cold seats
4- cold gloves box
5- cold center console
6- remember me changing the Liquids every specific distance/time without resetting every time
7-brake wear sensor important for eyesight
8- combined carbon with AC FILTER + HEPA FILTER
9- auto reset fuel after refill the tank like Elantra
10- cool/heat the doors by duct from AC like Mercedes
Point 7 is empty

I saw they hinted the 2022 refresh will only come with the 2.5!

As usual good job Mat !!! :)
Thank you! Cheers! Take care! :)
love that they canceled the CVT steps!
Gold logo’s on the wheels and a manual transmission option, missed opportunity!!

let me get back to you to make sure, we did test it but with a cable.
My 2017 and 2019 impreza with same infotainment has to be plugged in. Android auto should be the same for this crosstrek.
Went to a Subaru dealer. It does not support wireless AA, only wired.
Wires only, confirmed! :)
