- For many, waking up to see ice on your windshield can be an unneeded stress to the day, especially when you're running late. Several minutes are spent scraping those windows, but they don't have to be!
I've tried the rubbing alcohol method and it kind of works, I think. The side windows didn't really frost up but the front and back did. It was a lot easier to scrape off, so it did save me some time and it's better than nothing.
this is how we make the moonshine !
Haha moonshiners quote!
When did tips become hacks? This is a TIP!
Spray it before not after it freezes. Watch the video again to understand.
Its 18 ° outside and my car windows are covered with a hard shell of ice. I mixed the alcohol and water solution and gave them a good spraying. It didn't do a thing.
spray it before sun down
Doesn't work at all! I've tried it!
You probably have to do it right after you clean your windows, and before it gets real cold for the night. It should work, the vinegar is an oil base, the alcohol is similar in the way it doesn't freeze, and you might have to factor in that they say 3-1 , but at what dilution is your alchohol? Most is 75% so in that case id do a 4-1 if it's 50% do a strong mix of 5 or 6-1 just enough water to keep the water alchohol from evaporating and enough alchohol to keep the water from freezing.
Hmm off to get some white vinegar
Tried rain x didn't work now will try alcohol . ..Pour it straight from bottle 70% hopefully will work . Or antifreeze ?
White vinegar doesn't work if it's cold, I tried it. I went to spray the windows to get rid of the ice, and my white vinegar solution was frozen solid, in the spray bottle
He said to spray it the night before
lot of xconfusion in your answer be clear
LoL Im tempted to buy an onion 1:14
2014 chevy malibu front windshield defroster not working
What kind of onion?? I tried green onions but it didn't seem to work. Never mind looking like an idiot while doing it!
Why does the vinegar/alcohol need water?
I have rubbing alcohol so I could do that.
