    I love when Italians greet each other by saying “oooh!”

    • @aris1956
      @aris1956 3 месяца назад

      But this is not a usual greeting. It is more, let's say, so a greeting of surprise, of seeing perhaps a well-known person, a friend, that one perhaps at that time did not expect to see (as in this case 9:50). Otherwise there is the classic "Ciao".

      @@2595220 He doesn't sound full American, sounds part indian/spanish or something.. I've lived here NYC my whole life, and I would know not to ask for mayo on these Italian sandwiches... don't hate on Americans like we're the only ones in the world who don't know how other cultures do things, that's bias I would never say a whole country of MILLIONS of different people are all the same way, that's very illogical way to think.... that sounds like someone who moved to America, and thinks it's a typical American deli. He sounds as foreign as the All'antico Vinaio guys.

      Don't worry sir, I'll try to explain, in Italian the word panini means sandwiches, panino being a singular sandwich.
      Panino or panini is a generic therm for anything that is two slices of bread with something in between.
      This is a schiacciata or focaccia (depends on the Italian region) with various meats, cheese and spreads mostly from central Italy (Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna and Lazio)
      What Americans call panini for us would be a "tramezzino caldo" or "toast con il formaggio" 😀

    Bellissimo il pane...fumante, alveolato. Un sogno...qui dove abito, in Brasile, i panini sono piuttosto tristi e con ingredienti di scarsissima qualitá.

    One panino, two panini.
    When Anglo-Saxons say "one panini" mean like "one children" or "one geese" or "one mice".
    Pistacchio in correct italian sounds like "pistakkeeo".
