Does the 95 Honda Del sol have a Down Stream O2 Sensor? The guys at the auto parts store says it only has the one up front? IS there another one underneath? I can't find any video on that for the 95 Honda Del sol... Thanks!
There should only be one. Honda did not switch to OBD2 until 1996. Two things that will help you. First, watch this video to tell which engine you have: ruclips.net/video/ODrI1uq1tAE/видео.html Also, always feel free to call the Honda Parts department. Honda has the best parts department that I have ever worked with. If you go in, they will even print out parts breakdown pictures for you. They are very open about giving customers information about their cars. One last tip. Always give Honda a call and check their prices. Often their prices are better then the aftermarket. Good example is their oil filters. Hope this info helps you out. Have a great day!
I have 2007 honda Crv , unfortunately it's wiring burned out , and couldn't get new one, I purchased from a junkyard full set of crv wiring BUT mine is having 2 o2 sensors whereas the wiring I got is having connections only for one o2 sensor. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I LEAVE THE OTHER O2 SENSOR AS IT IS WITHOUT CONNECTIONS??
Sounds like you have a classic up stream, down stream o2 setup. You have to have the upstream so your engine will run correctly. The down stream is for emissions checking. So your ecu will have to guess how well the catalytic converter is doing it's job. It all depends on what Honda programed to ecu to do. If your lucky, it will just through a check engine light. If your not lucky, it may constantly be changing the amount of fuel is sprays, in an attempt to get the catalytic converter to work correctly. Some things to keep in mind. Try to use wires of the same length and gauge as the original wires. If the resistance is different, you will get wrong readings to your ecu.

I think what happens, is if the up stream and down stream oxygen sensors are reading to close to the same numbers, you get a check engine light. If the down stream is getting a different reading then the up stream, then the computer thinks the cat is doing it's job, and you get no check light.
