I'm a big fan of Moto phones like you and have been using the same since 2013. Moto G, Lenovo P2 and now Moto Edge 30 Ultra. After seeing this spectacular piece Edge 40 Neo, I'm so happy that Moto is giving a hard competition to all other brands and I felt that instead of spending 54K on edge 30 ultra I should've got this one😅 by spending half amount less for my usage.
Ultra is available for 45K now excluding offers, that's another matter😊
People complaint on moto that their updates are slow but on this I have a different opinion, instead compromising on quality they are being very consistent and quality updates.

So it’s like, I can sub ₹20,000 just for a year or slightly more, depending on my fate, and that’s it. What a financial nightmare that is! What's your take on this?

I have an s21 and sincerely speaking.. this phone would feel like an upgrade even for me.. I used to have the Moto g5 plus.. and I sincerely loved that phone.. especially the finger print scanner gestures and the bloatware free software.. It's metal body and strong build was so robust.. I once dropped it from the 2nd floor accidentally and nothing happened to the phone, not even the screen cracked because it fell on its back.. however it had connectivity issues in LTE and also had WiFi issues.. which was the reason why I ended up upgrading to the one plus 8T which was a disaster.

Moto doing good job in 2023 😀 in this price point specs are so good and build quality is up to the Mark ... But I'm confused Ranjit bhai below 25000 they launched three ph g54, g84 and now Neo 40 doesn't make sense 😜 it's like moto vs moto situations 😁😁 ... What do u think which is the best pick in this price point .

While the hardware looks promising, the camera seems to be struggling with the dynamic range and over saturation of the images. But for Moto to gain a respectable market share it needs to offer longer Android/security updates like Samsung (or at least longer than other Chinese companies at this price point) rather than launching a new device every 2-3 months at a 11-15k variation.

Very nice smartphone, good review♥️👍 I was thinking about this one and the regular edge 40 is even cheaper in the Netherlands! But then I saw the Oppo find x5 was only 20 Euros more, so I went for that one, still just as many updates and a more premium phone! If it wasn't for that one, I would've bought the regular edge 40.

Hi Ranjit, I am waiting for your full review on this phone before deciding to purchase
The specs and the price is tempting but the reason why I am not rushing to buy this is customer feedback about Motorola Edge 40 which launched few months back. Though the phone looked really good on paper, the feedback from the customers after 2-3 months of usage is not that promising. People are complaining about the battery drainage issues quite often on that phone.
Wanted to know about your opinion on the same.
