Interesting move by Motorola and a good, well laid out overview by you. I'm wondering if Motorola would also offer the same long term spare parts support, especially if that battery needs replacing say 3 years from now. Would you be able to verify the same with the brand? Thank you.
Ranjit it is time motorola should be criticized for their poor after sales service. Their approach to the green line issue in their phones is pathetic and it is happening in so many phones. Last year I bought moto g82 for my uncle after watching your review and now he is facing green line issue. It is my recommendation that while reviewing new phones also talk about how they are providing service to their old phones. We don't buy new phones every year and don't need so much models every 6 months. Companies should be held accountable for delivering cheap quality products which don't last even 1 or 2 year.
The phone is damn good. The only two things which are missing is UFS 3.1 Storage and a Metal frame. People would have easily given 1k to 1.5k more if it had them.
I have used Edge 40 Neo which has around 170G weight and 6.55 inch screen size, really good inhand feel, this should be even better with flat screen, 6.4 inch screen, 1.5K display much higher PPI.

What are your thoughts regarding it having a 4310 mAh battery only? With the current times average phone usage, will it be able to last around 2 days without charge? In my opinion, people would be willing to buy it even if they have marked it at 25k price with 5000mAh battery in it, given its impressive specs.
I've been recently looking for a replacement for my 2020 OnePlus Nord. The Moto Edge 50 Neo seems to be the perfect phone. Firstly the size and weight are great, stereo speakers plus IP rating are definite positives. Paid £379 for my Nord in 2020, currently the Edge 50 Neo retails at £399 (UK). Will hold out for a month or so, as I'm sure discounts will be offered. Good balanced review, do you think it would be a good upgrade from the OG Nord?
Motorola has the potential to make top-quality phones in the budget segment. If they focus on creating a few excellent models instead of many average ones, they could lead the Android market. They offer 5 years of OS updates for some budget phones but only 3 years for premium phones above ₹30k, which should be improved. To succeed, Motorola should focus on: • OLED displays • Good stereo speakers • Snapdragon processors • IP67 or IP68 rating • 5000mAh battery • 5 years of OS updates They should also use consistent names for premium phones, like Samsung’s “S” series. Releasing 2-3 such models could make Motorola a top mobile brand.
Dear ranjit, kindly address the green line issue in motorola edge series phones, I have purchased moto edge 30 back in September 2022 and few days back green line appear on the display 😢😢😢
I would say it felt like my old Xiaomi Mi A3 (Android One) for me with the specs, OS update and price everything is perfect on it's own. it's going to give LAVA India a BIG Dent on there market. The only thing i don't like in Stock android now is Gemini by default and just now i saw video which showed google won't be allowing 3rd party apps from other app stores if the apps availability is in Play Store.
My opinion: Instead of going over the board with the military grade certification and IP68 they could've provided the Gorilla glass 5 and keep a basic certification of IP57 or something 🙂
The only thing missing is an ir blaster and it would have been an all rounder Its nice & convenient to control every gadget with a single universal remote 🤗
PSA: Do not buy Moto devices. Works well for few months, and then issues start popping up, and will never get resolved. Display green lines, poor battery life and ram management, poor cellular reception especially 5G. I bought because I prefer stock android, but everything gone from bad to worse to horrible.
And Service Centres are terrible, I've given my phone more than 2 months ago, and still didn't get it back. They give all kinds of reasons, and even blame us for physical damage or motherboard issue
Hello Ranjith. These days your reviews are limited to unboxing and initial impression only. Any reasons for that? Can we see some in depth reviews post 2 weeks of usage like earlier?
Ranjit Sir, Thanks for giving us detailed video about this model but you found to be silent on two shortcomings of this phone 1. Missing 3.5 mm jack 2. Battery backup which is below average 5000 mh which, now these days, any brand is offering in budget phone also. Moto made a mistake by overfocussing on handset weight and size which made customer compromise on battery backup. Of course there are other Moto models fulfilling the requirement but wondering what Moto acheived by not giving audio jack and keeping battery backup below 5000.
Dear Rajit ji I have a concern of battery being just 4310 mAh. Can you please do a Screen On Time Test on this phone and help me take an informed decision? Thank you for all your sincere and detailed review 😊

Lmao! I have a Nokia 6.1 which has a 3000 mAh battery but lasts more than 24 hours. And if I don't do anything in that, it lasts 2 and a half days. Don't fall for the numbers. A well-optimized OS and LTPO will give a far better battery backup than a 5000 mAh phone with a junk-filled OS.
Two Small Battery
Interesting move by Motorola and a good, well laid out overview by you. I'm wondering if Motorola would also offer the same long term spare parts support, especially if that battery needs replacing say 3 years from now. Would you be able to verify the same with the brand? Thank you.
Ranjit Ji, battery capacity is less and storage is UFS 2.2. They have compromised here in these specs
Sir Camera wise Sumsung phoen ache hai ya Motorola phone ?
I mean please suggest mid rang good camera phone
Sumsung M35 Or Motorola Edge 50 Neo ?
And isme 3mm jack nahi hai toh Mike support kaise milega?
Did they ever try to offer you too, to feature in their official ads?
Happy user here of edge 30 ultra.. still working with any issues.. late updates better than green line 😅
Moto 50 fusion or neo??
Far outshines the Samsung A35 in all aspects! Wish I had waited for a bit and bought this one!
Whoa that Camera is really good I really like this device but which one would you get? this device Or the CMF Phone 1 or the Nothing Phone 2A or the Motorola Stylus 2024?
This or 2a depend on your choice
Dear sir, I've been a big fan of your videos since like ages. Need to ask you something. Which smartphone will you recommend between this neo, moto edge 50 fusion and nothing 2a/special edition/2a plus? I don't usually play games but need clean software, long update support and good call quality and network reception. Please help me in deciding. Regards. 🙏🏼
the moto edge 50 neo/pro/fusion have 5 years of usage so if ur looking for a long lasting phone then u might consider getting the moto edge
To succeed, Motorola should focus on:
• OLED displays
• Good stereo speakers
• Snapdragon processors
• IP67 or IP68 rating
• 5000mAh battery
• 5 years of OS updates
They should also use consistent names for premium phones, like Samsung’s “S” series. Releasing 2-3 such models could make Motorola a top mobile brand.
Dear ranjit, kindly address the green line issue in motorola edge series phones, I have purchased moto edge 30 back in September 2022 and few days back green line appear on the display 😢😢😢
Please also add to the side of picture when you talk about price other currencies like euro and/or dollars
Good to see Lenovo is reviving Moto and continuously proving the potential of Motorola not like what HMD did with Nokia.
Are you also planning to make a video on edge 50 ultra?
Looks like a candidate for full review .
My opinion: Instead of going over the board with the military grade certification and IP68 they could've provided the Gorilla glass 5 and keep a basic certification of IP57 or something 🙂
The only thing missing is an ir blaster and it would have been an all rounder
Its nice & convenient to control every gadget with a single universal remote 🤗
As a moto user I had few problems with Moto-
Updates were slow.
They are still not giving call recording without announcement.
Iqoo Neo 9pro vs Vivo T3 ultra
Who is best ?🙏
Hi Ranjit, Can we expect HMD skyline review video also?
Ranjit garu, where do you live? Does Hyderabad have such landscaped ground around villas/apartments..

Dear Rajit ji
I have a concern of battery being just 4310 mAh. Can you please do a Screen On Time Test on this phone and help me take an informed decision?
Thank you for all your sincere and detailed review
😊
First time his video feels like paid one, Because he talked less or zero about utter flop Battery💔
Sir any plans to review iOS 18 and new iPhones? Waiting for both things
Hello Ranjit ji. Am your old viewer from Hemayat Nagar itself. Need your suggestion to narrow down to buy between Motorola Edge 50 or Edge 50 Pro (12Gb 256 variant) currently using Moto Edge 20 Pro. Using Moto from 2014 onwards. Do share your suggestion plz.

How is the phone now ?
@@syedfaisalali1250 excellent, really practical and super fast. Amazing camera, a little slow sometimes when changing from macro to video, but just a second or two. super fluid with all the aplications working at the same time, waze, facebook, instagram, x, snapseed.
What about screen on time ? I'm heavy user like full usage of whatsapp, RUclips and insta, so can i go for it ? @@gustavofantela5924
This phone Looks promising ❤
The downside is;
1. The bad Dynamic range!
2. Also, the inconsistency in updates is what Motorola is known for. We can't say we surely will get the 5 years of updates on time.
3. I saw lots of honest reviews. Some people are facing lagging issues even on the 25k+ smartphones of the Moto.
What about green issue on these phones? My moto g52 got green line without even updating. Totally lost faith in led display phones.
Ranjit, kindly do a full review. Covering topics like, battery life, processor thermals, ram management, network reception and call quality of this phone. TIA.
Ranjith sir can we expect portrait vedio shoot mode in this phone?. Please reply me
It is missing a luxury feature known as 3.5 mm jack😅
Damnit Moto!! Just purchased 50 pro 3 months back. Only gripe was its curved screen🥲
