It’s AMAZING how you are able to get the car to hook. Without slicks. Awesome 👍
Power management
Nice job on not trying to kill your mom by throwing parts at her mid track.
Great footage as always. Love seeing that '67 fly down the track. I must say though, I kinda miss you shifting that '69 camaro - on the column :-) Keep up the great content!!
I really enjoy your videos.......ive had corvettes my whole life......first one at 19......im 56 now.....and still ... always one in the stable......you cars are bad ass..........period
Don't be surprised. You guys are great at what you do and your cars prove it. Rock On!
Still the best drag racing video’s. Great coverage and sharing the experience.
Derek Putnam is a great announcer and racer!!
Congratulations! I love the different POVs for the Run...
Cant wait to see them Chevelles run!....seems like the vette sure has the groundwork/set-up as the fastest though. keep up the good work you all.Chris from East Tn.
In the early days, it seemed like the Hemi cars were the ones to beat.
Yes and no. There’s been a Big block Chevy in the mix since the beginning. Ford and GM have held records for the longest time in the series.
Corvettes hurting feelings makes baby Jesus smile . . 😊
Great job 👍 I’ve wondered and asked FAST racers from time to time over the years (in the comment section) - Why didn’t this racing spread out west? I live in California, and though there’s not much to brag about anymore, we still have cars and great weather. I was sure this racing would catch on out here.🤷♂️
I can't believe the stands are that empty in Michigan. I used to go to "MusclePaloosa" at Lebanon Valley in NY and the place would be jammed.
Congrats on the win, I'm still waiting for the 8's when you get there!!!! Good luck for the future!!!!
We’re trying! Just the 2nd time out in the car. It’s showing some promising numbers running consistent 9.30s in the summer!
Omg her 2-3 shift was cute as a button!
wow you guy’s and gals dominated the event. The red 67 is my new favorite for sure. Man, that thing runs!!! Thx.
Congratulations, love your videos !
Great video! Thanks for the coverage. I am a former Hoosier from Gibson County Ind. Corvette lover too! C5 procharged and owner 24 yrs. Keep up the great content.
I F'n LOVE what you accomplish with 'Vettes!! If I ever do something more with mine, Y'all will be my first stop. AWESOME job people's....was gonna' say guys but MOM has a bad@ss Vette too!!
Love seeing them Bowties out front!
Beautiful cars! I really enjoy your videos
geez your mom in her car is really turning in numbers! great race
awesome job with the cars. '67 looks good goin' down the racetrack. congrats on another win! nice run for mom! congrats Julie! also nice that you didn't throw a driveshaft at her this time..doh! 👀👀 ps- get mom to wear some gloves
Amazing that a non boosted, non nitro, non NOS car can run in the low 9s. I'm hoping you guys can shave off a few more tenths and touch the 8s. I don't know what the traction threshold of those tires is but it would be interesting to find out. Thanks again for another great video!
I’m thinking it can go 9.teens 9.0s pretty easily on a good track in good weather. That last tenth might be tough. We will see! I’m pretty excited for it!
If you ever had a car that had 400 horsepower or more you would find that traction is always the problem. On the cars I build now I always take that into consideration. Back in the 80s I had a car that had probably right around 400 horsepower but had stuff some dirt track tires under it that were large and my car almost always beat many more high-powered cars with regular tires in a drag race only. The fact that these guys can get 800-plus horsepower to go anywhere is beyond my comprehension. They should literally be able to spin the whole way down the quarter-mile
Bravo!
Hi from Puerto Rico. Good race with mom and win. My drem cars. Chevy for ever.
Man, corvettes look mean with the steel rallies and not centre cap or trim ring.
So the Mopar and Ford fans aren't very happy, lol. It appears that in the F.A.S.T class, where there is no limits on mods, so long as the car "appears stock" with those skinny bias ply tires, the Vette's simply have no equal when they're dialed in right. Seems like you guys have been dominating the class for quite a while now.
Theses actually a pretty strict rule book so it’s not really anything goes.
I should've been more detailed about what I meant. I was talking about the engine, so long as it appears factory stock on the outside, and I failed to do that. @@HorsepowerDepot
That was a cool video!👍
smokin!!!!
WHAT SWEET RIDE
Jordan what would a factory stock 67-69 L88 Corvette run? I remember back in 1973 watching a Detroit area Doctor running his 69 L88 at Detroit Dragway and it ran consistant 11.50-11.60. I believe it was mostly factory stock but I think he had headers on it, not factory manifolds.
With slicks and open headers they were probably mid to low 12 second cars. I don’t believe they could run 11’s without a few other mods. Jordan, your thoughts?
Well I saw for real that chocolate brown 69 Corvette coming in the gate every Saturday night at Detroit Drag Way driven by the Doctor and would typically run mid to high 11's with only headers. With the stock tires, it would not launch hard but really set sail about the 1/8th mile...There was a lot of talk about this car at that time that it was rare but essentially stock as it was delivered to him by GM except for the headers he had installed. GM at the time of the late 60's claimed that the L88 would only make about 450 hp with street exhaust and manifolds but would jump to 560 hp just with open headers The mph at that time in 1973 from what I recall was well over 120 on each run.
Why are the ET and MPH numbers flashing like crazy???? Legit question
Led lights flicker, but so fast the human eye can’t see it. A camera catches the flicker because of the frames per second that the camera records in.
Do you guys work on cars? I have a 1986 Monte Carlo SS and I would love your opinion on what to do to make it quick but still look stock, the transmission and axle have been up graded to handle big power. Now I need a small block
9.30's in that heat is fantastic. Waiting for cooler weather. Boom!
Did that blue Corvette come from Minnesota? Wayne N?
In that class what's the rules for the Transmissions it seems like it's sequential
You have a turn down button on the floor.
very exciting - "for all you haters" it is America's Sports car . . . . Wrap your grASS in fiberglass , do you ever get out to any california races ?
Can’t believe how fast your mom is running
Cool that your mom’s vette is an automatic disguised as a manual.
Mopar dudes have always had an inferiority complex. If their brand isn’t winning than they get all butt hurt. Other racers have to be cheating, etc.
WHY DO PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT THE VETTES
Butt hurt Mopar fans.
You are getting them all Dialed in Nice Job
With tires and a trans brake 8.90s
