I have the same feeling and I'm giving him the same support I gave Silia since day 1 when she was announced because she was really special and amazing 🤍🇨🇾 All the love for Theo and the Wiwibloggs crew this Eurovision year , see you in Basel P.S he looks a bit like a combination of you William and Zachary Gordon 😁
Looks promising! I like the Dark Side because it looks like the surreal painter Rene Magritte's "The Lovers"... I can get creeped out if it's too dark or kinky so I won't know until they pick the song but I love that he is a fabulous dancer.
From my point of view I see a promising choice from Cyprus 🇨🇾 and CyBC! I mean Theo Evan is young, talented and not just a singer• he writes music, lyrics, he is a dancer and an actor! If all these can tell a lot about his personality, imagine what an amazing result we will see on stage in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025! 😮 I can't wait for the song! 🙏🏻
Eurovision 2025 season has only just started and already we’ve got our first artist. And he’s our first native-born artist since Hovig back in 2017. No Greek or Greek-Cypriot diaspora singer this time.
I honestly thought malta or Belgium or whoever would be first but never in my life expect CYPRUS TO BE VERY EARLY LITERALLY 2 DAYS AFTER HOST CITY ANNOUNCED
Hi Wiwibloggs and William . This year starts early... i did not expect that there is first song/artist selected so soon. How was Summer and are you fully energized to 2025 Eurovision year?
one of my wishes for eurovision 2025 is that there is a significant decrease in dance breaks, I'm hoping for not too many. If the song will have a dance break I hope it's a good one. but excited for Eurovision 2025 to begin!
know it's not your thing, but have you heard Portugal's song for Junior Eurovision? It's a very adult song and an incredible voice. I advise you to listen, Victoria Nicole, "hope" 😉
ok so for me my favorite song of him after listening to all is song is (Theo Evan - DARK SIDE) he don't do the type of song i like but good luck to him for next year.
@@in_wino_veritas Andrew ended up in 12th position and Tamta in 13th. So the comment is right. But for me, positions dont mean that much, but the impact of the entry. For example, Snap of Armenia ended up at 21 but was successful in the Charts.
It wasn’t even the best faring Armenian with a guitar in Torino, but, whilst the other (Estonia’s Stefan), was also quite good, this was so under appreciated in ESC and deserved its chart success
0:38 well, so your holiday was in Malaysia? for your information, Malaysia is where the headquarters of the ABU (Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union)-basically the Asia-Oceanian equivalent of the EBU-are (more specifically in Kuala Lumpur). I don't know if you were still in Malaysia by the time of this comment, but if you still were, I think you should take a chance to go thither (thither = to the place) and persuade them to collaborate with the EBU and organise a proper Asian Eurovision (the mistake with the previous Eurovision Asia project is that the "license" was given to a private production company, not to the equivalent of the EBU for the continent).
Personally I would prefer something like Dark Side and not a pop recipe like The Wall which I dont like at all. I would like to see my Island with something Darker or Gothic.
same i love more the Dark Side song than is dance song, but i'm not really a fan of this type of song to beging with so, but good luck to him 💪 and yes i agree something darker would be good for a change of genre for Cyprus.
@@SleepyNoah15 Im glad you somehow agree with me. I would love my island to eventually win afte 44 years. But this will happen only with an outstanding entry and not the typical pop recipe our Broadcast usually sends. Lets hope they read our comments and dare something different. For a change
Greek guy here: as for the Cypriot entry, I read a very strange comment (don't count on it, it's probably bul..s) : its said to be an unpublished George Michael song (don't forget he was from Cyprus)
I never expected Cyprus to be THAT early
Me too
Is that positive or negative?
@@pcon71 no
@@pcon71 its just surprising
They were actually the first country to announce the artist for the 2017 contest so it’s not the first time that Cyprus is first

This choice is so promising.

I loved Hovig!
Hovig was also the last man who performed on the stage of Eurovision for Cyprus
I honestly thought malta or Belgium or whoever would be first but never in my life expect CYPRUS TO BE VERY EARLY
LITERALLY 2 DAYS AFTER HOST CITY ANNOUNCED
Cyprus ain't wasting no time!
It’s not the first time Cyprus has been the first country to announce their artist. They announced Hovig first in October 2016 for the 2017 contest.
So early

Thankfully Theo moves really well so any dance break will be EPIC 💥

I think he will come with a popsong with reggae music. With a dancebreak aswell cause he is a phenomenal dancer ❤
Love a good dance break!
What happened to the national final they were talking about long ago?
I want 2025 Eurovision omg I hope Nini iris will represent Georgia 😮

Gosh, Theo looks quite hot

Yes, Andrew Lambrou was Cyprus' best result since Eleni? Wasn't Tamta 11th? Or am I confusing that with the running order?

@pcon71 True, it depends on many factors, and a higher position doesn't necessarily mean your song is better. And Snap finished 20th, if I'm correct.
@@in_wino_veritasFor me the most important is the song will be remembered
@pcon71 same here

I think the song will be an unreleased song of the late international (Cypriot) singer George Michael
