Nice…Can you get MSG in Tesco or can you only get it in an Asian supermarket?
I couldn’t see it in Tescos or Sainsbury’s. Where is it you live ?
@ Belfast - there’s two Asian supermarkets up here I know off , will try them
Hi! Does it need to be a specific white rice?
Hi heather , Yes use long grain rice
What about roast pork fried rice? Do you use a special type of pork? Thank you for the video sir!
Hey Jedermeister , we always use Char Siu pork for rice, I’ll do a video on it for you asap.
You ever cook the rice with butter and no oil?
Hi Hazley , we only use Vegetable Oil in the Chinese Take Away for Fried rice , however when I was very young I used to love plain boiled rice with some butter on top , beautiful 😍
@MrChang707 Thank you for the comment back on the topic, Would you have the recipe for sweet an sour Cantonese style king prawn dish?
Hi Hazley , yes of course, I’ll do a video on it for you very soon .
Is this comedy Central you're joking us right? Please answer yes, no ,maybe ,who cares , I don't know. Thanks
Not joking at all , this is how it’s done in Chinese Take Aways , been doing it for over 40 years .
@MrChang707 I think I'm accustomed to them mixing it all while cooking in the Wok that's what I see not what you did,
Nice. People don't realise it but this is how rice is prepared. Use boiled rice from the day before. Mix in salt msg dark soy.
When the woks really hot put a little sesame oil around the wok. The heat burns the flavour into the rice. I agree with the little bit of sugar. White pepper is a good seasoning too.
We batch cooked all our rice in the morning, a little bit of water and in the microwave to reheat when the orders come in. Standard practice.
But without a wok burner the taste is never the same as the takeaway.
