Bangkok, Thailand is home to the second largest lizards in the world. The Asian monitor lizard can found all over the city and especially in Lumphinj park. Join the adventure and let’s explore Bangkok’s vibrant city, food and lizard population.
We saw a good sized Monitor in Queen Sirikit park when we filmed there! Funny because we are so used to large Iguanas from living in Costa Rica that the Monitor didn't even faze us. Lumphini is nice. we were there today but Benchakitti is better in our opinion. Great vid
Are you still in Bangkok this Sunday, Oct 27 from 3 pm? There will be a royal barge procession from around Rama 8 Bridge to Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). The king will be offering monk robes as part of the end of the Buddhist Lent. 52 barges and 2,399 oarsmen w/ the main barge, the Golden Swan, being 130 yrs old bulit during King Rama 5 and completed King Rama 6. The procession is 1.28 km long. This pomp and ceremony follows an ancient protocol procedure to the last detail. It's going to be spectacular! Doesn't happen too often. Last time was during King Rama 10's coronation 4 yrs ago.
Going to Komodo Island in the Indonesia.bro you'll see giant Komodo.they're biggest lizards in this world but the lizards in Lumpini park in Thailand they're brothers with komodo.I can tell.
True, Komodo dragon is the biggest lizard in the world, but it was difficult to travel to see it on Komodo Island in Indonesia. Therefore, Bangkok is an alternative way to view such animals, considering as a free bonus for tourists.
Nah those are tiny Monitors. You have to go to Indonesia to see the Komodo Dragons, which can swallow goats whole if you want to see the world's biggest and most dangerous lizards.
Komodo dragons are the biggest but this monitor lizard are also not tiny, they can grow up to 2.5-3 meters but nobody in a right mind will just let them grow up so big in the park that located in the middle of the city center, the government officers had already moved some of them (that’s a little too big) to new place.
They also can kill people too and they are aggressive for sometimes🥲 Anyway ,the better thing about water monitor is I’ve never heard they attack people before 😅
🤨 I once rented a house in Thailand. The previous tenant was a woman who owned a beauty salon. I found a room under the stairs about 0.6 meter high, about 2 meters wide and about 2 meters long. It was dark and damp. But the strange thing was that there was a lock inside. I didn't think that human would sleep in there. It was probably a home for a large snake.ruclips.net/video/bvjdoPaP54k/видео.htmlsi=RK29gXwQ4LODCsKl
Thailand is a safer country than big cities. You can walk at night. There is food on every street corner, all the time.

We have already left towards southern Thailand. That sounds so fun and interesting. Thanks for the suggestion.
Just in the backyard of my house, I always see these big lizards. Some are just a little bit smaller than alligators. They are huge !
ohh wow! that's super cool. Are you living near Bangkok?
You are handsome and have a great smile. Your girlfriend is also lovely. I hope you both have a happy trip in Thailand.
Thank you so much!
I sometimes explore the city through the soi as you did. Quite interesting find some times. Some sidewalk restaurants are very good.
That's awesome. It's so fun just go with the flow and explore.
Getting on and off those WW2 buses is an adventure in itself. The lizards are everywhere and have NO fear of people.
haha yes for sure!
Local bus is the good choice to sightseeing bangkok
Yes, i agree!

So brave and efficiently 8 baht
thai bus express never lost
just repeat turn back
Only the juvenile monitors would climb trees. The grown ones would rather stay in or around the water.
ohh ok, that's interesting. Thanks for sharing that

The point is these living in the park downtown of the city not in the jungle.
@@vassanab4243 Wow that's huge for a lizard. I can see that. Bunch of massive lizards in the park hah
