Tío Aventura I just wanted to ask if you guys have to take everything off of your shelves in your bedroom and off of the vanity when you are moving or if they stay? Also I was wondering if you have to have a special class of license to drive the bus like a cdl or anything like that? I found you guys from Eamon and Bec’s collab with you guys months ago and I am so in love with your bus and life style. My husband travels across America and is only in one place for 6 weeks - 6 months and we love the nomadic lifestyle but hate the moving in and out of temporary spaces. I’ve showed him your videos and he is really warming up to the idea of building a more permanent home on wheels. Thank you for opening our eyes to a whole new type of living ❤️❤️❤️
That’s so awesome! We are happy you’re here with us now! It sounds like small living would be ideal for you both. The things on the shelves are held down with Velcro so they don’t move. A few things on the makeup area we just put on the bed and the plants in the kitchen we place in the sink. As far as special requirements to drive the bus, it really just depends on the state the vehicle is titled in. As for Tennessee, it doesn’t require anything special. So luckily for me, no CDL or class F endorsements, but that could change depending on where you live and title the bus.
It still is on my RUclips app and on the web browser on my Samsung Smart TV, but on my Surface, I have it in 1080p, but only on Google Chrome. It's still only 360p on Microsoft Edge.
17:42 taken out of context is hilarious! "You know, six inches doesn't seem like a lot... but in a small space, six inches is whole lot!" Sorry, the 13 year old boy in me got the better of me. Really amazing design guys!
@@smritea4280 hi...I don't know how it's Nepal's rough terrain..but in India the police or the other officers don't allow to sleep in the vehicles they think there might be any security issues irrespective of the terrain ☹️☹️

What a fantastic build, this is the kind of thing you'll be looking back on in your older days even if you don't continue it forever. Mariajosé you're beautiful, has to be said🤐 You're such a cool couple doing this amazing stuff with your lives, good for you💞☯ WAIT! You left your tripod behind 😅
Thank you so much for not doing anything unnecessary during your build, So many people rip out the floors and the ceilings and the walls and the windows, and as I am about to start on mine, and wondering if I am lucky i got those pieces in good shape but planning on leaving it all and painting it and that is all.
Love everything about this bus, Except for the black water tank. Will definitely go compost toilet! Absolutely loved that shot parked in the desert and umbrella on the deck! What a view!!
I converted a Bluebird bus to diesel and made a rv home a few years ago. I loved it, wish I had you and your wife’s designing skills! I really like your design. Be safe
Very well done! She's so cute when she keeps saying "storage" instead of "store". : ) Thank you for sharing. I like how you made it all feel more like a home than an rv or trailer. : )
Again what a beautiful bus!! I love the kitchen with the fridge on the side where it is now and i love that subway tile in the shower. What an amazing conversion!!! Many happy miles to you!
@TioAdventura: I really enjoyed your video. It's so refreshing to see young couples working together for their lives. Seeing you downsize and have little waste restores my faith in humanity. Thank you for sharing. 🖒
OMG... The closet space! WOW! After travelling two plus years I don't have near that many clothes anymore. Kinda jelly lol. (Erin writing here) No, but seriously, love your front seating area. It is wonderful and looks like a great place to hang out with friends. I can't wait to build our bus. Love your colour scheme too! :) Thanks for sharing your home & updates with us. - Erin + (Brian too)
Hi friends! 4 years late here (sorrrrrry!) but thank you so much for how kind your comments here has always been. Not sure how we ended up missing them, but we're prioritizing getting back around to them now. Funny story, we're building a new bus and have stumbled upon several of your videos regarding your safari windows on the curved part of the bus ceiling. Truly awesome work. We hope all is well!
Just amaxing, oerfect, love tbe way the kitchen is zL shsped ,has a very comfy vibe about it!!! The bathroom is superb!!! Just the best ever, would be so.much fun to live like that!!! You got a great deal too, yae! Clean and organized ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Wow! This bus is on my top 3. You did a great job designing it. I love the way the walls are curved on the way to the bedroom. Makes it look like your entering a whole different area of a home even though its all connected to the same frame. Inspires me! Be safe guys! Fantastic job (again)! 🙌👌👍
I absolutely love your home. Well thought out. The only one i have seen with the hallway/closet/bathroom laid out that way. Really love it. And love the kitchen layout. It seems like you have so much more room than any conversion i have seen. And you are a great decorator. Love Love It Have Fun Be Safe 💚
Fun to watch and you literally teaches people techniques in saving space(sofa/bed) and for privacy(L shaped kitcgen). And you got a great floorplan. Interior is great and not boring.
I sold my first class c RV and I wanted a bus built it my way, i definitely like yours, and we ended up buying another RV exactly the same as the first time, i Love the size of your restroom, lovely home/ bus.
You guys have done an amazing job with your skoolie! It is very well designed, spacious, and it looks very comfortable. The MPGs sounded painful, but it’s a large bus, so it is what it is. Enjoy your travels, enjoy each other’s company in good health, and I hope you continue to post updates!
Great video. I have been looking at skoolies for over a year now to get some ideas of floor plan that I liked. Although there are many good floor plans out there, I think yours is the very best I've seen and will tailor my skoolie, Strider, after your floor plan. Thanks for a great video.
Thank you Harvey. We really appreciate comments like this. We actually have our floor plan in the description of this video, but you also can find it on our website www.tioaventura.com. Please feel free to ask us any questions we will be more than happy to help you.
I have watched tons of these videos, your bus has a wonderful layout and is beautifully decorated! Great job! Best Skoolie I’ve seen ! Thank you for sharing
This is by far the best bus life video I have seen. The reason is that I'm looking at getting that same bus. I stand at 73" and needed a bus that gives me room so I don't have to squat. It also gives me some ideas for the design of my bus. Thank you.
They are a cute couple, dude punched above his weight and I cheer him for it. But I wonder where his rings are if they're married? Does he mention that at any point?
first time to see your video, wow you guys did a wonderful job on the bus, very pretty and it looks bigger than most because of the zig-zag you have from the kitchen to the back of the bus, your bathroom is so pretty and roomy. it is just a beautiful tiny home.
Hi Mark! Thank you so much for the kind words. It has been priceless. The amount of time we've spent together away from the "norm" has afforded us the opportunity to get to know ourselves and each other in a way that I truly wish everyone could. It's a beautiful life, and a beautiful life together.
Thank you Kat! We found the build is never truly over, haha. There were things we found early on and others that we just weren’t in love with after a few thousand miles on the road.
I'm a huge make up lover and it's so awesome to see someone have a make up area for once! You guys have given me sooo many new ideas for my future build and I'm happy I found your channel since you two seem to be so sweet and lovely❤️
My husband and I would hope that we could come to you with questions along the way as we are building a 1979 Dad He van with a 4" lift and a w rangler 4x4 kit. Our questions to you would be more about the inside of the build. Sink, maybe outside shower, maybe even a little bit of decor. We really love your build. We hope you have many fun adventures to come and maybe we will meet you out there... Big wheels keep on turnin!
I've watched so many of these skoolie conversions and everything about this bus and layout is what I'd like. The entrance to the double facing couches that becomes a big bed with the big fridge placement. The fridge almost says,"The food area stars here" Corner counter kitchen is perfect with the adjacent wood stove. The indirect hallway giving added privacy to the bedroom. The bathroom is awesome, but I would be leaning to the 'Natures Head' to avoid sewage issues. The Solar Array and the topside deck is literally the icing on the cake. Especially with the inside deck access. The garage I can take it or leave it, but the biggest preference I would change is having a rear engine vs the loud front engine.
Absolutely enjoyed your VLOG hope to be a regular viewer you both seem like a fun couple to follow so heres to many many more new adventures. Thank you Mike

Now I can see the colors and faces clearly! 😄 Glad it was sorted out, nice they could help. But please know I would watch you guys no matter what! 🧡
Finally a bus conversion where I don't feel uncomfortable about the bathroom!! I honestly hate how they all have curtains for their toilets/bathrooms. This build is something I could truly be happy with!
We’re saving for a bus… but we have 4 kids. This is a dream. I man convert a van just for my solo adventures. Wish we could do something this nice. Makeup? Anytime all the time!
Hi! I love love love you guys and your bus!! I have been wanting to go down tho path myself, it took a lot of convincing here at home and finally everyone is on board. I was wondering what made you choose this model of bus VS the other models? Please keep the amazing content coming... I live by curiously through you guys Maria Josè y Chase!!!! Sigan viviendo bonito!!!!
Hi Madelyn! There was a lot of stuff that went into the idea to buy our bus, and the only thing we missed out on was finding a "high top" thomas bus for a little more headroom. We made a post that kind of outlines my thought process as to why we bought this particular bus. I'll share the link here so it's a bit of a reference point. www.tioaventura.com/post/5-tips-for-choosing-your-school-bus If you have ANY questions we'd love to help. And we are so excited you have almost convinced everyone in the family to go mobile. Can't wait to see you on the road :)
Maria Jose you are more than a Makeup Artist….YOU’RE A DREAM GIRL! (smile)😍💋👸 I loved your Puerto Rico videos Chase🤴💓 I hope I meet you both soon here in Puerto Rico; or somewhere else in Latin America!?💓💓 You both have done a terrific job on your “school bus”! You have a place to park it at my farm if you decide to move here for a while with it! (smile) Buy lots of rice and beans to store; and gas tanks to cook, and a lot more drinking water! Hard times are upon us all! God Bless you both! I drove to Nashville once; thinking about maybe publishing some of my own original songs. I did not stay long there just saw one music studio! And I used to drive through from when I lived in Kentucky and Illinois when on the road to Florida💓👸💕🤴💓✈🏝🙏😎⚔
@@mariajoseandchase I am serious about the offer. Hardships are seen already in the horizon; and you both have made a loving impact on me you are so likeable and nice. I was not born here but I love this island as I love /cuba where I wa born. I am a prepper and I surely could use "four extra hands" to return my farm up to date! (smile) You can even live in my farm house until the bus gets here on the ship! Is filled with tools, food and things but it has three beds upstairs and we can throw away old things out down stairs! (smile) I am living with my children right now, 11 miles away in Manati. The farm is in a town called like the state Florida, Puerto Rico. Is country no neighbors but the malls are just 5 miles away and the town about 1 mile. Think about it, like I said I am serious! perucho711@gmail.com Cel. 787 598-6343
@@mariajoseandchase And by the way Chase and Maria Jose I bought a boat about 3 years or more ago and did a lot of upgrading it with extra engine (inboard and outboard) and put a sail mast and leeboards, and steering; and even to row with connections! I am obsessed with safety no way this boat either will sink or will stay a drift. I did a lot of inventing and adapters for it! Is 19 footer 250 hp inboard and another outboard Honda engine adaptation to it. It was built as a fast boat; but I have not found anyone to help me put it into the water. I can tow it but is not a job to do seamanship by one man alone for a beginner like me.
I would be willing to buy it! And can I say only $50,000 for this beauty! The price is amazing! But yet I don’t have the sufficient funds and I’m only 12 I can’t believe I miss this opportunity to buy this AMAZING Skoolie ! Love you guys lots and I’ve been here since the start!
Hello to you both the #1 thing back of the bus was that good ole Tennessee Tag and University of Tennessee Tag!! I bleed Orange I'm from Johnson City Tennessee it's East up I-40 then you hit 1-81 north East in the Tri-City Area!! I wish you both the best in life on the road I love your home on wheels it's beautiful inside I look forward to more of your Video's God Bless☺ Oh btw I'm loving the Deck on Top!
Very Very very GOOD WORK. You have done very Good for your selfs.. I am trying to get on the road some day my self. Hope to hook up some time. I am in Cincinnati OH and would love to get out of here. Again VERY GOOD WORK. From Jay C. L.

I love the efficiency of your setup. There’s so much usable space but the floor plan is still open. Definitely using something similar for my build
Wow, The interior. Is so beautiful. Man I envy you. No disrespect 👋👋👋👍👍👍
Such a talented ingenuity. Enjoy your road trip. Looking forward to see you on the road 😊
Perfect house design!
very nice...wow....she's beautiful.
Thank you so much!
I have that epic Uncle FYI. The stories we made. My favorite is cliff jumping into the ocean with him. Good name choice for the bus.
Love love LOVE this!! Feeling inspired for a bus of my own. Awesome job guys!!
You guys seem like a nice couple! Hope you have the greatest of adventures! Parabéns aos dois!
Finally a bus conversion where I don't feel uncomfortable about the bathroom!! I honestly hate how they all have curtains for their toilets/bathrooms. This build is something I could truly be happy with!
Beautiful, I love the colours. And the owners are just as beautiful 😍
I love how the entire bus is set up! Looks exciting 😍
Thanks Elizabeth! We're still so in love with it!
Open space is way better then no use for storage n only a tiny space to walk. I like space.
We like space. Which is why a galley doesn’t work for us. We have very defined spacious areas with more than enough storage.
@@mariajoseandchase The narrowness is too claustrophobic for Me.
We’re saving for a bus… but we have 4 kids. This is a dream. I man convert a van just for my solo adventures. Wish we could do something this nice. Makeup? Anytime all the time!
It's possible. Step by step. It didn't happen for them overnight and they had help.. follow your dreams
I love your bus!!!! This is one of the best designs I've seen!!!!

If you have ANY questions we'd love to help. And we are so excited you have almost convinced everyone in the family to go mobile. Can't wait to see you on the road :)
Maria Jose you are more than a Makeup Artist….YOU’RE A DREAM
GIRL! (smile)😍💋👸
I loved your Puerto Rico videos Chase🤴💓 I hope I meet you both soon here in Puerto Rico; or somewhere else in Latin America!?💓💓
You both have done a terrific job on your “school bus”! You have a place to park it at my farm if you decide to move here for a while with it! (smile) Buy lots of rice and beans to store; and gas tanks to
cook, and a lot more drinking water! Hard times are upon us all! God Bless you both!
I drove to Nashville once; thinking about maybe publishing some of my own original songs. I did not
stay long there just saw one music studio! And I used to drive through from when
I lived in Kentucky and Illinois when on the road to Florida💓👸💕🤴💓✈🏝🙏😎⚔
Pedro, that's so kind of you! We'd love to ship our bus to the big island and live for a while.
