I have watched these clips so often now and they don’t start to bore me. The lightness these guys play with, is astounding. If somebody recorded these tunes properly, it would have been a wonderful live album of an intimate venue. This is one of the best examples, when A.I. related music gets put back in it’s place.
Every clip from this event is just unreal. The talent, the outstanding sense of fun they are all having, and the choice of music just amazes me every time I watch.
Trust me my friend! I AM in tears here! I grew up listening to The Ventures version....which I will ALWAYS LOVE! But learning THIS, with my IDOL Tommy Emmanuel and friends!!!! It's AMAZING!!!! TOP!!!! Love it!!!! God save The Ventures, Tommy and Instrumental MUSIC!

So much virtuosity in such a small room! They blend seamlessly. The CAAS Convention is the ultimate rush for fans of fingerstyle.
I would have been in tears watching them play. So technical and beautifully played . Totally on another level than most people

@@gustavomantovani8309 I will.
@@gustavomantovani8309 It's all about Tommy though. He's trying to steal the show when he should be giving the other musicians more space.
@@PreservationEnthusiast Maybe he enjoys this piece the most. I mean they played bunch of other songs too where everyone got to show off.
Trio of finger style legends all very different and equally fantastic
Eargasm!! Absolute geniuses on guitar all 3 but Jim Nichols just ever so slightly stands out for me..
Nothing is as good as hearing three master guitarists playing a song together!
This might be the best version of this song all times I've heard so many but this is so different and superb and the skill is off the chart
Fantastic! and 3 humble men with a real respect for each others extraordinary talent
I agree
Smokin'. A lot of fun to watch. Thanx for the post..{^;^}
Pop’s chops blew me away!! Well done
They are so fucking ridiculously good
This is when your great-grandpa, your grandpa, and your dad ask you to play with them with your Xbox controller.

What genre is this I need a playlist of this
Chet Atkins is the artist, check out some more of his stuff
Country rag maybe?
Western swing.
Boom Chick Style
Combo of Gypsy jazz and country rag.
I wonder why they changed key to Eb?
Because they can
Unbelievable...
A great Chet song ruined by turning it into a JAZZ song. Not everyone will agree, but I agree wholeheartedly with me, as you can surely see.
The only way to ruin a song is to play it wrongly, not differently.
