As much as I enjoyed your old layout Zach, this new build is fantastic. You opened perimeters up to spread tracks around and created some sitting and breathing room. Much more to go to make it even better. Awesome ! Salute...to a thank you. 🥃👍
The layout looks great Zach! I really like the weathered CSX train! I personally don't have any weathered trains but like it! Can't wait to see how the upper lever finishes connecting to itself!
I do see a lot new on your layout. You have one addition I have never seen before on any layout. I have been in the hobby off and on since 1958 and have spent many hours with personal visits to other layouts including the massive display at Balboa Park in San Diego, going to train shows, reading books and magazines, watching home movies, 1111vhs tapes, DVDs, and now RUclips, and your layout is the first with a man vomiting off the roof of a caboose.
😂🤣😂🍻 excellent!! 😂 I wish I could take credit for that one, but picked that up from the gentleman who does those beautiful detailed cars at York. His name slips me at the moment, but he does some great stuff!

Thank you! I’m itching to get that upper loop running for sure! But am just happy at the moment to have the bridge placed. No more sweating having to move it around to work on other area! 😅

Everything looks amazing! There is so much we like.
I have 2 Atlas Lake State Railway SD70MACs coming. They would look perfect with those wonderful weathered CSX engines. Lakes State keeps their engines very clean & new looking. However, it is not uncommon to see them lashed up with weathered CSX engines. I am even seeing Lake State engines going by my work in Livonia now.
We are making the last runs & packing up now. If the inspection goes OK, me & the kids will have a new home to build a layout in. Alot more room & no wife to check in with. I am calling the layout the Detroit, Dearborn, & Plymouth (DD&P)
Maybe someday, when you come back to town to visit, the layout will be nice enough that you would want to stop by & get some video & drinks.

Thank you Siri I agree! Love those stacks! I did order a couple of the new Atlas ones, but love the MTH ones for the details as well as being able to handle the O54 curves! The atlas ones can’t do that! Have a great week!! 🥃🍻

Your layout looks complete. Are you gonna do anything different from just concentric circle loops?
Still got a long ways to go scenery wise, but getting there. Keeping the “loops” that are running as they are. Hoping to get the upper loop between the 2 layouts together soon! 🍻
I LOVE this layout. If you bring that upper loop around are you just going to duck under it and how does it affect the lift gate?
Thank you much!! 🍻🥃 that’s gonna be a project to tackle once I make my way to it. Hoping to make just a small lift out bridge, that way the swing bridge can still swing up for access. Should be interesting when the time comes.
