Might want to get hold of a hydrofoil for the outboard to aid possibly getting up on plane
Hydrofoil helped but it’s not a planing hull this boat is a displacement hull my other sneak box is a planing hull and does about 30mph with my 15hp.
Traditional displacement hull BBSB's don't plane, they plow. Nothing wrong with it, you just go slower but they are very seaworthy for their size.
What size motor are you running? I just picked one up. And basically half to do the excact same thing to it. Mine is 12.6 long
Running a 15 horse evinrude, yours glass over cedar? I’ve got two now this one and one other one I have a video of on our channel it’s all fiberglass same size and run a 15 on that too and get about 24-26mph
Pumpkin seed hull, meant for sailing not motoring.
