Subaru sells a similar kit that I've used several times, I think I they were around $18 the last time I got them from the local dealer (SKU SOA868V9315). That cone nozzle makes all the difference, it's amazing how much crud flushes out of the line. Make sure to change cabin air filter too.
These 2001 Vets don't have the cabin air filter, but that is a good point, the cabin air filter should be removed if present. Also thanks for the Subaru cleaner PN. Also, the vent refresh could be sprayed in the cabin filter location if it is before the heater/AC fan.
