Hello, many of the online stores are selling US variant iphones here in the PH. I am planning to buy one. However, in case the phone needs to be brought to a service center within the warranty period, does it mean that we can’t have it fix here in the PH?

IMO, 2 physical sims is disadvantageous. easier now to get esim online anywhere so you dont need that 2nd physical esim esp when travaling and you need a data provider.

I just had a call with Apple support today.
My case is that i purchased the iPhone Pro Max A2342 US model.
Based on our documented conversation. PH will accept the A2342 models for repair and replacement so long as you bring it at Authorized service center like powermac.
The only warranty they will not cover would be the HK dual sim variants which needs to be sent in or boxed back to HK. Hope this sheds light to other buyers.

Thank you for this video. A very IMPORTANT question. I have always used unlocked US iPhones in India. They had global warranty. However a friend told me 12Pro and 12Pro Max - US models are not giving us global warranties.

I am having such a huge problem. I bough iPhone a 12 pro max Hong Kong Variant from greenhill seller. But the phone has big gap between the Screen Frame and the body. This is an issue with current iPhone line ups. Now i cannot replace the phone in Philippines nor send it to Hong Kong. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️.

Regarding that, a friend of mine is planning to buy an iPhone 14 Pro in UAE then he will use that phone here in the Philippines. He wants to buy in the UAE because we have a friend there who offered him to purchase the phone because it was way cheaper there.
Here's his concern, will there be any problems when he buys an iPhone from UAE and he uses it here? Like signal loss or network failure or anything if he buys there?
If so, do you have any suggestions where he should buy instead? And what variant of iPhone he should buy overseas?

Online resellers do offer international apple warranty on their hk variant . Like breese authentics and ajt . But wala pa ko nakikita na feedback about repairs and nag claim ng apple warranty using hk variant or baka maganda lang talga ung quality nung nabili.

All iPhone model will work in the Phil. Coming from the US as long as you bought it without any server. Meaning there is no contract attached with the phone. I have been sending my old iPhones and it works perfectly in the Phil.

Because they arent made for us markets for specific carrier and are branded with their logo and will appear will tur ing on the ph and international ones are cheaper as u can get it from another country that has a differnt price than the us

The online stores I know don’t sell yet as for as I know. They usually sell after 2-3 months of release.

Should i buy an iPhone 12 now or wait for the 13? I feel like Apple will remove the notch next year and will also have 120hz refresh rate. Though I have a Note 20 Ultra and am not using the 120hz refresh rate because i prefer the WQHD+ over smooth scrolling.
