    You would be way more efficient if u used the usbC to charge your laptop. That way no conversion loss. But I think you should tell people this is not a pure sinewave output AC.
    A 9Ah runs my MacBook Pro a longtime. 29 hours, but only when dc. Ac got me 11

      Being DC to AC, and DC to DC, it is not a "pure" output, it's stepped, but it's not at all dirty, it's perfectly clean and safe for electronics.

      @@RobertLeBlancPhoto yeah the second thing I did after getting it was digging out my oscilloscope and finding the leads to look at it’s output.

      For single battery, still limited to USB power adapter with no AC option. They do have a 150W inverter that plugs into a car DC socket but otherwise they're were the first to offer a Portable Power Station, basically it's a multi-battery, up to 4, charger that can also work as an inverter for up to 1800W of power (modified sine) and you can use either their 20v or Flexvolt batteries on it...

    Doesn't actually give more power with the 9.0ah like you stated just longer run times.. no additional power I'm sue you know what you meant

      Do you mean if it's on and nothing connected to the unit it will shut off or if a few devices are connected and one of the items connected stops charging it will shut off because it no longer sees all those connected devices. Do you have an example? I am trying to be sure I understand this phenomenon.

      @@Methodical2 i mean i had a sound machine for my baby plugged in during a power outage. The current draw was not high enough, so even though it was on through the night the topoff shut down after an hour or so

    For your large Ryobi fan, another option is to use an M18 to Ryobi 18 volt battery adaptet. That's what I do. However, as I write this, I'm testing my Ryobi fan with a Greenworks 60V inverter. An adapter should be more efficient, yielding a third more run time per battery watt-hour than an inverter.

      How long does the fan last on the setup you have tha ks

    • @PaulStregevsky
      @PaulStregevsky Год назад

      @@87gallardo87 According to my notes, using well-used Milwaukee M18 batteries:
      On High: 2.5 hr. with a 6AH battery; 2.4 hr with a 12AH battery (2.4 AH can't be right; I must have meant 5.4.)
      On Medium: 4.3 hr. with a 6AH battery
      On Low: I didn't test it. Sorry. Low is very low, so I'd guess 8 to 10 hours with a 6AH.
      (Added) When used this way, the M18 battery has no voltage regulation; performance drops steadily. By the time the battery dies, the blade speed has dropped by 30 to 50 percent.
