This has become one of my absolute favorites and I'm sorry to say that I did not discover it until the age of 63 years. It absolutely causes my soul to soar......this composition is what music was created to be. Thank you for your beautiful interpretation of this incredible piece...............Would love to obtain a copy of the music.....I would spend the remainder of my days attempting to conquer it! Thank you and God bless you!
@uuuummm9 Thank you so much for your comment! I'm glad to hear that my music can evoke such deep emotions. Your support means a lot to me, and I truly appreciate it. But, please, don't cry. 😊
Good afternoon! I am in love with this version and your performance... I am choosing a piece for my final music exam and I decided to play "Pas De Deux". Would you mind to share music sheets, please?
It's good for a beginner, but there is just to much missing for it to really feel complete, a few examples are: The arpeggios at the beginning Some shifts in pitch in the melody in the same part The accompaniment continuously being played in triplets (1:50) Right after this it should at least go down an octave There are also no fast runs softly accompanying the melody, which is forgivable tbh The buildup becomes a bit weird rhythmically It becomes fine, until 2:55. This rhythm is not correct and thus not even really countable anymore The rhythm at that point of the melody stays wrong, and some very important runs in the upper register are skipped The ending is fine. For a very nice transcription, try the pletnev transcription of this piece. It's truly wonderfull.
While I personally absolutely hate this piece and consider it the worst in the Nutcracker, this interpretation nearly changed my mind. It broke out of the generic patterns of the piece being repetitive and nothing but technically complex, while being an empty shell of a piece of music - it was quite the contrary actually. I feel like this is maybe what it was intended to be play as on a modern piano, because it absolutely made me feel alive, even with being this piece I generally do not favor. Awesome interpretation. This touch you added to it genuinely made the piece have a soul that most people forget should exist. Much love and congratulations on the amazing performance!
@@p.muskett2931 Judging a man by a singular opinion on a singular piece is a terribly hypocritical thing to do, I think you might've missed my point. The interpretation genuinely brought tears to my eyes despite the usually insufferable repetition getting to me and most others as well.
Ни одна другая композиция не находила в моей душе такой отклик, как эта. Каждый раз на глазах наворачиваются слезы😢
