I have a 2017 Three Touring with almost 107k miles and it has been the most fuel efficient and low maintenance car I’ve ever owned. Just early in the year I replaced the original rotors and brake pads at 101k miles along with brake fluid exchange. The next big service is the coolant flush and the Prius has two. Other than that, just oil changes every 5k miles. I’m getting 53 mpg avg plus all LED lights, self park, lane assistance, radar cruise and few more features. My last two cars before this were Mustang GT manuals…..yes I was single then haha so I never thought I would like my Prius so much. I really like the look of the new one, but a few reasons keep me from upgrading: one, the pre owned car market is not what it used to be (USA), so a used 5th gen prius is sometimes almost as expensive as the new one. Two, the trim I like has 19 inch rims which are unnecessary on a Prius (less efficient and more expensive tires). Three , at 6’3” in my Prius, I have close to an inch of spare headroom. On the new one, I have to recline the seat to 45 degree angle to have headroom. Four, I can’t fit my golf bag transversely anymore and finally, I don’t owe anything on my Prius and that feels awesome. Also I can’t justify changing my car knowing it can go another 200k miles without any issues.
Finally some healthy and intelligent human beings understanding Toyota's sophisticated (and truly flawless) state of the art "full hybrid" technology. A 100% correct review. Well done !
The “B” setting doesn’t increase efficiency. It merely provides more engine and motor braking for long downhill sections, and actually uses more fuel. Also, there’s no belt-driven CVT. There’s no transmission at all, just a planetary gearbox linking the engine and the two motors.
@@volt8684 I know they say used review on the thumbnail but most, if not all of their videos were uploaded in the last couple of years but the videos will be from like 2008
@berhaneyohannes7095 you can get lucky when someone trades in theirs at a dealer ship. Theres a lot of uber ridden ones but if lu ky a non uber prius will be 16-22k usd

Appreciate that

belt driven CVT in previous versions? 🤦 literally takes 10 sec chatgpt to find out how Prius engineered since gen1...
Love one but out my price range
Where was this video posted originally and why is it only uploaded 8 years after the car came out?
Its a used review I think

Just got the exact same spec and color. 90k miles, used by some old person, immaculate inside and out. I love it. The ~51 mpg helps too haha.
@@TrevorsMailbox clean title? How much did you pay?

8 airbags by the way
It's a mish mash half gearted generation. Main drawbacks was that there were not enough Plug-in hybrids sooner!
Another PAthetic review... ECO car but no MPG numbers?
