    Wow! You did a very good installation video! Thank you very much! I hope I will need this in a view months! Note. You did perfect by make it looking OEM with black tape - but as I'm always into some "retro" bike rebuilds like my 1994 Honda XR600R - I would wish the pre-owner used maybe a GRAY tape in some situations - so I would be able to identify the spots where somebody worked on .... it also bit me by myself when I had to "de-re-build" my 2000 XR650R for sale - I could not identify some spots I had to reconnect ....

    Why would you not route the valve cover tube/ crankcase vent into one of the airbox holes for filtered ventilation instead of down under the bike open to the elements?

    • @ChampionAdventures
      @ChampionAdventures  2 года назад

      The reason we don’t do that is, it’s harder to recognize an oil pressure/crank pressure issue when oil is going into the air box vs. spraying the ground and bike. The elements have never been an issue and the right tube will last.

    • @ChampionAdventures

      We say Pro Circuit, their exhaust out performs its competitors, looks better and installs better. The coolant outlet kit paired with a Vortex ECU, and any exhaust is the way to go. You'll then just change ergonomics like suspension, bar setup and stabilizer to your preference.

    Is it not better running a thermostat in colder countries/States? Would you be doing an inline one anytime soon?

    • @billyarsenault1970
      @billyarsenault1970 3 месяца назад

      Of course it is better to run a thermostat in the extreme cold-
      these guys doing this mod mostly say they are sacrificing cash comfort safety and longevity just because they want the bike to be a bit lighter for a faster top speed on the road to keep up with their buddies riding the bigger or nastier dogs even tho the bike handles much better at top speed on the road at the stock weight or heavier and 90 percent of the issues most have with the bike when it’s brand new will disappear after the bike is well broken in.
      For example I have not had a single decel pop or even a stall after hitting 600 miles.
      Never had a flame-out on the 2024 that’s long gone.
      And the snatchy surging herky jerky throttle and the vibrations thru bars seat and foot pegs is almost completely gone and will be soon at this rate of improvement I’m sure.
      If not I will then consider an AIM ecu with just 2 way map switching-
      an Enduro map for stop and go traffic/tight trails and then a WFO map for 0 to 60 sprints on straight aways.
      Others will say they are burning that cash just because they want the bike to be more agile on a race track but most truly competitive moto cross riders would never buy a new 12k out the door Honda dual-sport just to strip off 4k in street parts so that it’s a better race bike.
      The OEM exhaust, bars, mirrors, chain, sprockets, tires, springs ect we probably paid well over 3k alone for and that stuff is often first to go and you gotta then pay to replace those things 😢.
      Then for the so called “free mods”🙄they hack up the sub-frame to delete the tail lights, reflectors and plate holder before setting their sights on the thermostat, air box and sound/vibration dampening covers and components 😅.
      The real issue is that this is one of the tightest made bikes ever leaving the factory and all that compression and friction from such tight tolerances wants to rip your arms off then launch you over the bars after rattling your brain around in your skull and making your entire body numb.
      Awful at first but then virtually never stops getting better and better and better with the more miles you put on the motor and even the suspension keeps getting better and eventually it rides like a dream and runs like a Swiss clock but you gotta have patience or be broke to wait it out at the back of the pack. 😂
      I spent more money on a seat and luggage that’s it and then called it a day-
      If I could burn out the clutch I would like to replace it with a rekluse but even the fucking OEM clutch somehow just keeps getting better every single time I ride it just like every thing else about this bike. 😊.
      If i ever dent up the RL muffler beyond use I would replace with a second hand 450X OEM exhaust because the RL muffler has a catalytic converter that stays red hot for an hour after you ride and you cannot put a cover over the bike right away.
      Imagine that’s my only complaint right now with approx 900 miles on a 2024.
