Hi Meeple University Community :). Our channel needs more subscribers so it would be awesome if you could show your support by both watching our videos and subscribing to our channel if you haven't already done so :). Doing that will allow us monetize our contents, to invest back into the channel with new equipment and our time, so a small gesture from you goes a huge way for us. Many thanks for your support!
Very excited for the kickstarter coming up, you have sold me on Viscount, it looks very fun. Reminds me of Crown of Emara, a very thinky game that I like, but with less AP inducing game flow
Definitely interested in Viscounts and backing for sure based on Shem and Sam's pedigree of games so far. (My favorite being Paladins at the moment). After seeing Shem post the solo gameplay and watching your how to play video, I have a better grasp on how Viscounts will play. For me, it will be a bit harder to teach to nuance of the game. Seems to to be straightforward enough with focusing on the different actions. Really impressed with Shem's and Sam's design for the West Kingdom series. Anxiously awaiting Age of Artisans expansion. Thanks for the discussion.
Yes insta back for me for Garphill Games games :D. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Paladins have been the favorite for many. Why not show them the how to pay video so that you don't have to teach? ;)
I'm a big fan of Architects, have Paladins, but have not played it yet, and will most likely pick up Viscounts when that is available. Shem knows how to put out a game.
New to the West Kingdom trilogy and played Viscounts solo. Blew me away, the precision and interplay of resources, tracks and cards is a joy for my brain. Luckily, i kickstarted paladin in the same pledge. Will probably start playing it, once i beat that damn noble AI in Viscounts, the other three AIs have been taken care of :) Thanks for this vid, but just a quick question, T told us which game he preferred in the trilogy, however you forgot to mention yours Stella. Again thanks for all your vids.
Right, so good! Good thing you found the trilogy! Damn noble AI lol. Its tough, I really like them all but maaaaybe Architects, but also like Viscounts. So hard!!!! Our pleasure, and thanks for watching Muhab!
You really can’t go wrong with any of the west kingdom titles. I say this out of trust in Shem and Sam. I have watched all the videos for viscounts and I think it will be my favourite in the trilogy. Really amazing game design!
Here's where I get messed up 😅 Raiders of the North Sea, after its expansions, had a follow up called Raiders of Scythia. That's where I jumped in and we LOVE Scythia. From what I hear, it's sort of a cleaned up version of North Sea with its expansions +/- a few details. Now I'm at a crossroads when it comes to West Kingdom. Not owning any of them, do I wait for the "2.0" version? Which game will get the 2.0 treatment? Will there even be a 2.0? The entire trilogy looks great. I may just jump in and stick to the base game, restrain myself of any expansions with the thought of a 2.0 coming sometime in the future 🤔
Haha right, you never know what's gonna come up next. Scythia is great yes, that's what we'd play now. Hmmm a few of West Kingdom already out there. Also I heard there are the other direction of kingdom is also in the brew ;P Stella.
I have the Architects of the West Kingdom and it's a fantastic game. However, I'm unsure about Paladins since some criticisms said it played like solitaire with minimal interaction between the players. Viscounts seemed interesting, but it's only on KS for now so I'll have to wait for it to hit the shelves.
Paladins is more thinky and more solitaire, it depends on what type of games you like I guess. Sounds like you like interactions. Vicounts has more of those. Also, Raiders of Scythia is coming out soon ;)
Thank you again for another very interesting video. I love Raiders of the North Sea and invested heavily in it (I even have the playmat). Thus, Architects of the West Kingdom did not made it to my shelf. Paladins seems too much multiplayer solitaire and I just don’t like that feeling 😊 With Viscounts, its another story and after watching your video I decided to back it as soon as it hits ks. On an additional note, those games have wonderful components for a very reasonable price tag 👍 Cheers!
Hi Murat! Wow nice one, you have the playmat, that's so cool! Thanks for the feedback about the games, Shem and Sam would be happy to know that! :) Cheers! Stella

@@yannisguerra Hello! Haha sold you, is it good or bad lol. Crown of Emara, maybe I should check that out. Thanks for sharing!
Good video! I love comparison vids like this.
Thanks so much xx

If you like Architects and want something a little bit heavier, then Viscounts. Thanks for sharing your thought!

Thanks for pronouncing Viscounts correctly :D So many videos I've seen where they get it wrong...
Well thank you Danny :). It's a tricky one thou. I gave the credit to Tarrant who is good at pronouncing things :)>
Cheers! Stella

That's a valid statement. So far we've been enjoying their games!

Hi Shaina, not sure yet at this stage. I think there is already one for Paladins?
