I’m looking into getting into hookah, what’s your opinion on copper sets?
Good question! There are two main issues with copper pipes: 1. They’re usually of the traditional chamber type - which you can watch my video series on the 3 different types and how they matter - namely they’re likely held together by solder. And 2. They patina very easily exposed to so much water all the time and require daily maintenance. Overall I don’t recommend them at all as stainless cnc machined hookahs are what are preferred

Is it fine for red leaf too? I was told to use a classic bowl for red leaf.
Hey! Thanks for watching. Just so you know, There’s no such thing as “red leaf” since it’s literally just a dye to make it red. What you’re referring to is blonde leaf. Red dye is common in middle eastern type beginner tier blonde tobacco. Basically, Al Fakher started it and every competitor imitated them. But when you analyze such brands no two are similar. For example there’s a night and day difference between Adalya and Al Fakher.
But to answer your question, the Alpaca Mini room does a great job at working well with every type of tobacco. However, there’s a new bowl on the market called the ARKA Tempest that’s specifically engineered to deliver top tier sessions with, not only every type of tobacco, but also with any heat source from an HMD to a Provost and even foil-only set ups

One more question... Will a ONMO HMD work with the Alpaca mini le rook? I understand its not a snug fit cause its 1CM wider. Im not bothered about the fit too much, just the performance.

@@ermal6157 yes because it was specifically designed to be versatile and universal. And it is. For example, the Mini Rook works great with all tobacco types but not with all HMDs - while the Tempest LP1 (which is the Medium size) works with all tobaccos and all HMDs
