I got one of these a few weeks ago. Mine did not have the Mercedes badge, and doesn't have metal gears 'throughout.' The gears in the portals were metal, but plastic in the diffs and transfer case. I still really like it though. I've already put an aftermarket Mercedes badge on it, and metal driveshafts, and I've got metal bumpers, chassis guard and the winch on their way to me. I was gonna take it out on the trail today, but it's stormy here in Scotland, so I'm gonna go over it and patch those holes you highlighted - thanks a lot. Liked & subbed. ❤
