A worthwhile drama, everyone should watch to the end. There’s some good things about life that can be learned from this story, if one is keen enough to pick them up. It was good to see her finally open her emotions and shed real tears 52:09 … and although it was sad that she still couldn’t cry at her mother’s grave at the end, even after discovering the real reason her mother became a professional mourner to begin with, it’s understandable considering that her mother also couldn’t cry at her grandmother’s gravesite and that’s how she was raised. If I had written the script I would have given her more love and appreciation for her Mom all along. And I would have added a flash forward scene where she and the nobleman’s adopted son got married. She also played the younger Female Lead in The Moon Embracing the Sun and many other young roles of the Female Leads in other sageuk dramas. Her performance as the lead in 20th Century Girl was good too.
