The ones who stood out for me here would be Chika, Riko, Hanamaru, and Kanan. But I also liked You's and Dia's. Eh, let's be honest, they all nailed it.

Oh Boy, I already had my top picks a long time ago and nothing will change my mind, riko and hanamaru. (What a surprise)
Riko’s is just good all around but what makes hers stand out is the “otagai”. She sounds like she is putting her all into that word and in my opinion no one rivals her when singing that word.
Hanamaru is a god/goddess at this part, (and this entire song). The entire time I’m listening to hanamaru’s version of this just gives me goosebumps. Just the way she goes from soft to strong while singing this is just sooo good!
Edit: actually, Mari’s is actually really good too! I just contradicted my first sentence…

While this is the third years song, I feel like its not merely theirs, but also Chika's. The song is a passing of the torch moment from the old Aqours, and its first verse even pretty explicitly documents all the failures that led the original Aqours to dissolve in the first place. With that in mind, I think Chika in general gives a very strong solo performance of this song, but this one is the highlight for me. It has all the energy and pathos it deserves, and the lyrics themselves are very emblematic of the attitude she will lead the new Aqours to. Incredible stuff

I always disagreed with the idea that is JUST a 3rd years song. I always felt like it was also supposed to be a song for all of Aqours coming together as a cohesive whole. The first part is for the 3rd years obviously but then it kinda builds to include everyone. I feel like a lot of people just completely miss that.
