- You really can't understand how long I've waited to do this video. And now that I have, I can say with confidence that Chika's is the best (I knew from day one she would be, but now there's PROOF lol).

This song was made for the high energy girls like Chika, Mari and You, so no surprise they ate. Ruby and Yohane come pretty close. Dia did a great job considering how much of a contrast it is to her usual nature, same with Riko. Hanamaru sounded funny, but Kanan was.. depressing. I'm so sorry, Kanan.
Kanan tries really hard and I can appreciate that much about her, at least. She never phones it in but is out there giving her 110% every time.

@@mikan_v2 ofc! and yeah, her voice might not be one of my top favorites, but i still adore kanan/suwawa's voice so much!! ♡ i feel like the composers/producers should give her more low notes in songs too, her voice is so pretty with them!!
@frostelliferous YES! I have long felt like they are doing Kanan/Suwawa a huge disservice by always giving her high notes she struggles with. Like damn, you have Ruby and Chika who can EASILY do high notes (plus You, Mari, and Yoshiko can achieve them depending on the song and the note) so why the heck are you giving them to Kanan?!?! Just let her do her gorgeous low notes OMG. I am so frustrated with staff for this. Kanan gets so much more criticism than is warranted because of this.

I love them all I don’t know which one is the best, but if I need to choose one I will choose Chika because she sounds the most beautiful! But Ruby sounds so cute too!!

It took a while but goddamn, everyone did good here. I think aside from Chika's, my favourite might be Ruby's. I knew certain girls were gonna do good here (Mari being one of them), but Ruby's surprised me (along with Kanan's) in a very good way.
I liked that Kanan chose a lower tone with hers. I thought that was SO smart.
@@mikan_v2 It was very smart AND worked so well for her solo. This wasn't a song I expected Kanan to excel in (mostly due to the long note hold at the beginning), but her watashitachi was my favourite. Ruby and Chika just had a stronger overall intro imho.
I agree on all parts! I think the long note hold was understandably a little much for Kanan, but I LOVE her low tone on the first word. Ruby was also adorable; the high pitched long note is right up her alley.
9: Riko (If only she screamed louder, other than that I love it)
8: Yoshiko "Yohane" (Really love it, going soft at the start really gave extra something)
7: Dia (Reminds me of My Mai Tonight)
6: Hanamaru (Zura, need I say more? JK but I really love this song for her)
5: Mari (Absolutely exploded my eardrums, perfect)
4: Kanan (I love the nasally voices so much, and this song makes it so you can really hear it)
3: You (I've always liked You's voice, especially when she sang HIH so I knew this would be perfect)
2: Chika (Chika-chi found her radiance)
1: Ruby (Her voice sounds so powerful- gives me the chills)

Chika's is the best by a margin and I am a bit disappointed about Yoshiko's and Hanamaru's version.
On second place is surprisingly You's version.
Kanan has my least favourite version (like almost always)
Her voice at the start was actually so pretty, but the shout with the long note destroyed everything (it was just so awful).
Kanan literally just died.
I think something like this is unfortunately harder for some girls to maintain than others. I found Riko’s to be really awkward.

😬 I know. All of my hopes crashed when I heard that. I wished they’d stop over-doing the “zura” with Maru.
Seeing as no one else has commented here in a while...
I'll give my rankings here now instead of doing it later. In order.
Chika - The best for me. I also like her tone and inflections.
Riko - Definitely great. Only very slightly quieter and less energetic than her scared sounds from years back, but still good.
Ruby - On par with both Chika in terms of tone and inflections and Riko for energy, though Ruby uses her own energy here.
Dia - I feel like the rhythmic structure was forced somehow, though this is a spoken line, not a lyric. And it isn't shown, either. Anyways, in terms of tone and inflection, it suits her well, seeing as she usually isn't so energetic, though she does use a good amount here.
Kanan - The timing here is similar to the original song and Chika's version. Kanan has gone to some high notes before, but not so much. Anyways, the energy is understandable. I'm also like this normally. The tone and inflections are decent enough for her.
Hanamaru - The zura strikes again! Oddly, I seem to be the only one here who likes it enough. Anyways, the energy is great here. I somehow also like the fact that the "ra" is done in a sung style from E5 to D5, though the line is spoken entirely.
You - The energy feels slightly forced. Not too much. Similar to Chika's in a way, as well. Anyways, the tone and inflections actually suit You here. Not bad for my best Aqours girl.
Mari - Only very slightly less energetic than Chika. It also seems Mari ends on a high note, like Ruby did. For Mari, the tone and inflections are great here. Not much to say.
Yoshiko - Similar to You and Chika in a way. The tone and inflections for Yoshiko are pretty spot-on, though, for my second best Aqours girl.

9: hanamaru- I didn’t really like hers, i really did not like the zura either…
8: kanan- her low toned “scream” was very funny to me. She gets points off for not being a good scream compared to the others. She did a good job though.
7: Riko- when I first heard hers I thought she would be last on my list, oh how the times have changed. Her voice definitely doesn’t suit this but you can’t deny that it was pretty cute.
6: Mari- her take on the scream was pretty good. Idk what else to say.
5: Dia- with how deep her voice is, she did a really good job! I actually really like her version a lot.
4: yoshiko- her scream was very solid. Starting off soft and ending it with a great scream, just great!
3: ruby- I am surprised that I put her so high on this list. I won’t deny it, I underestimated Ruby with the scream but she proved me wrong. She did a fantastic job!
2: you: I actually really like her version a lot (I also listen to her version of TOW a lot too). Sadly she doesn’t beat number one because compared to the number one spot, you’s sounded a bit off (when I mean by a bit off, I really mean by a BIT off).
1: Chika- You win… I have to agree with you, chika’s is the best 😔. Honestly if I had to say one word about chika’s version, it would be clean. The way she shouts sounds so buttery smooth (just like her hpt mieru). Maybe I think that because I’m just so used to her version but idk, I think she would’ve still been my number one if she wasn’t the original scream.
I would’ve been so mad if you’d put anyone but Chika in first 😭 I actually agree with a lot of your list except I think I would switch Ruby and You, and I give Kanan extra points for her lower toned “watashtachi wa” because it sounds great. Maru…. UGH. I think Maru’s could’ve really been something if they hadn’t put that “zura” in where it has no business being.
@@mikan_v2 haha, don’t worry, chika is staying at the top and I don’t have any plans on changing that. Honestly, the reason why I chose you at the number 2 spot is because I listen to her version of TOW more than Ruby’s so I’m more used to you’s. With kanan, she could’ve beaten riko’s but I’m riko biased and she sounds so awkwardly cute. I don’t want to admit this but I’m honestly finding hanamaru’s zuras so be annoying now…
Edit: I also just realized that I unintentionally ranked the CYaRon members as my top three. You weren’t kidding when you said “I actually think CYaRon had the best solos for TOW overall”.
@@Jury01 I think they're overdoing it on the "zura" which I find very frustrating. The "zura" is a really cute tic for Maru, but lately they've been leaning into it SO hard and they just need to back off a bit, you know?
Nope, I wasn't kidding. I legitimately did not expect CYR to have the best solos. I thought for sure it would be Chika, Yoshiko, Maru, and Mari. I guess CYR really came through!
@@mikan_v2 yes they really do need to back off with the zuras. Mari has her “shiny” and they don’t overdo that. When was the last time you heard her say that in a song?
CYaRon really did come through and coincidentally it feels like it’s for your sake since they were robbed in your eyes.

You mean the TOW opening? Definitely Chika. It’s her opening unless it’s like, a subunit version performed during the subunit concerts.
