Thank you for this review. I didn't realize you might hit the bar on the bottom of the top barholder when using the lower bar holder. I like your j hook idea, it would be cool if that was a thing. Other preacher curl benches have height adjustments with a knob and only have one spot for the curl bar to rest on.
Oh yeah, having a single set of adjustable j cups would completely eliminate the possibility of hitting your bar against the top set of hooks while also allowing the user to perfectly dial in their preferred bar height position! I appreciate you watching!
I tend to agree about not necessarily needing one in a home gym. I bought one (not this brand) and I find myself using it less and less. I prefer concentration, standing (bar or dumbbells), using my adjustable bench (sitting or standing behind), and cables.
@@MattPendergraph just tried it on my PR4k leg roller while sat on bench. It works great! Never had a preacher option before and already prefer it to standing curls. Thanks!
I tried talking myself into getting rid of my preacher curl bench and going the Preacher Pad route, but I mostly use the pcb pulled in front of my functional trainer and I’m concerned that the PP (ha) won’t be stable enough, especially for single arm movements.
Understandable! There's definitely a bit of a learning curve when it comes to the Preacher Pad (figuring out how to get into position and stay in position while grabbing the bar, dumbbells, handle, whatever) but once you master it you're good to go IMO!

I spent the extra money on the Titan Preacher Curl Bench for my garage gym.
Probably a wise decision lol

usually it would a last pump of the day, not for a main workout
Fair review! I’m going to try preachers on my leg roller, never seen that before!
Appreciate it! Yeah do it and let me know what you think!

What a horror show! I’ll be avoiding this, thank you for the review!
😂 just trying to keep it real!
The bench does look little , it’s only 33inches high lol
Oh yeah! Very cramped IMO
