I have the original Armada Prime. That was surprisingly close to the original transformation. Also I can't wait to see an Armada Jetfire and Overload so you can make the Primes super combination.

I just got armada jet fire for christmas and I am so happy to have it
I used to have the orginal armads prime good times
I got an original armada optimus (complete in box, I did open it of course tho) and now just want jetfire and overload to complete him

Fans hobby likes repaints. They probably will do all of the repaints imaginable for this guy. And I will buy all of them.
Keeping just about any other 3rd party figure in the box would almost seem a waste, but it just looks so nice in the window that I can absolutely relate.
Armada Megs sounds good, but you know what I'd really love is a Titan class Tidal Wave...

Armada was one of the top tier transformers series. it had an amazing story, great character style and was honestly so beautiful

I love how the transformation es very similar to the cartoon. I hope they eventually do Armada Jetfire to combine him with Prime.

I really hope you're wrong for Hasbro, but we'll see. I think there are rumors of Unicron Trilogy-themed lines coming for official stuff, but I wouldn't bet on it.
@@LeaderOptimus They had an Armada Optimus prototype for Siege, like they did the Cybertron Optimus, but it never went anywhere.
Yeah, it was shown with Star Convoy but I think they put it away for now. Let's hope they'll dig it out soon for a new Armada line!

I appreciated that you actually had to grab Prime's cab to disconnect the trailer which shows the trailer is actually connected and not just sitting there with gravity and very loose tabs like is the most common way they connect.
I might just have to get this one, Armada Prime was my all-time favorite. Now we just need a Fans Hobby Jetfire so we can have Jet Optimus

The fact the trailer looks good, the base mode works, and it doesn't hinder the pants mode like the original armada prime
The engineering on the base alone is amazing. I especially love how this has working treads and firing missiles, the latter seeming to be a lost art. The cab/robot isn't so great though, the waist joint you have to unlock being especially ugly and a bad idea.
I wonder when Transformers Animated is gonna get the third-party figure support.

ahhhh, childhood. Armada and the 2001 Robots in Disguise (Car Robots (I hate that I have to put the date for that now)) were the main transformers shows that I grew up on as a kid. The Unicron Trilogy and 2001 RID need more attention from 3P companies. A 3P RID (2001) Megatron would be SOOOOOOO amazing!!!!!!!!!

Car Robots/RID 2001 is still one of my favorites, but I equally enjoyed Transformers: Armada, and many others.

So excited for Fans Hobby's Armada Megatron. Especially since they resolved the plastic issue of the first rushed batch.
Armada was the series that introduced me to Transformers so this is pretty awesome.
Cybertron was my introduction to Transformers.

This figure has some serious QC issues. ShowZ has been kind enough to send me several repair parts. But it remains one of my favorites.
Limbs popping off is just a part of the Unicron trilogy minicon experience 😂
I hope we get a whole slew of attachable bots for this figure. That Overload(?) And Jetfire convoy could be absolutely GLORIOUS at this scale

@@grand_max66 thats great news, all though Im not so keen on the early designs Ive seen (specifically the tank tread shoulders). Its ironic how I used to laugh at g1 purists for comparing every detail to the show before.

@@unuseableb I know that they've made 2 redesigns since the initial designs came out (with the latest ones having alternative faces), but I'm really excited. The shoulders don't bother me much since they can articulate as well and don't get in the way of the arm.

So weird, I was a young kid when G1 hit, but there's something really special about Armada that still hits me in such a good way. I can't wait to see their Tidal Wave (one of my all-time favorites).

@@gummygrenade just take out the batteries. Tbh I think ppl didn't untab it thus making it catch fire. But I could be wrong on that part, but definitely take out the batteries

That panel behind the head is actually fairly accurate for Armada Prime.
Emgo shows that videos can be really good without much editing and that good because in just 2 days he uploaded about 5 vids!
All we need now is Overload and Jetfire. Then, the Armada set will be completed.
I bought this on the Fanshobby site back in March, and can’t wait to get him.
Great figure. Even with the brittle plastic on the cab in love it.
Also if anything happens like a breakage, Fanshobby will send you replacement parts
Just got this guy in the mail over the weekend and I love him! Truly well worth the price. Not too fond of the design for Sparkplug's robot mode, but outside of that, I'm hooked.

I need them to do 2001 prime and energom and cybertron prime for a display in the future. I would honestly get every version of prime(even primal) for a great display if I HAD THE MONEY. But someone tell fans hobby to make 2001, energon, and cybertron prime and armada starscream

11:18 By all the legs in the frame I’m guessing prime can be taller and beefier like in energon or armada I can’t remember which one. (Yes that much leg classifies as legs.)
The base mode now looks surprisingly like Fortress Maximus' spaceship mode. Given that this Prime is a NAVAL Commander, this similarity makes sense.
Really wish I didn't miss out on both releases of this guy, currently $300+ for the few I can find on ebay

They hinted at Jetfire and Overload a little into this Prime's reveal. At the moment for Armada stuff we know they are working on a Megatron.
