  • We are taking a further look at the Kangaroo component in Grasshopper and look at real-time physic simulations that can be used in your design, one way or the other to make a more natural looking distribution of spheres.

My points just bounce up and down, they dont spread when hitting the floor...

Hey what Forces do i have to add to receive a heap of spheres? And how can i do it?

This is just determined by creating new random points when recording points, so you could technically add a box of random numbers and increase it, but what is important is that those points when joined don't override previous points, this way you can add this "heap" of points like seen in the video :)

@@SatoshiBuilds Thanks for the reply but actually i ment that i would like to have them spheres stack into heap. In the end of your Simulation all spheres Touch the ground. I already added floor friction with rhino7 but i think im still missing attraction forces. You have any idea on this issue? Also, do you mind connecting so we could work on this problem together?

How can i increase the speed of the way the spheres fall

hey there, you could increase the weighting a bit more, in order to increase the gravity and make them fall faster, other than that, I think it's actually limited by the pyhsics calculation of each step, so you can only make that faster by getting a better pc.
Other than that, you could also render it out step by step with a different kangoroo solver so it you have more control over each frame, and speed it up/down to your liking
