Also, I’m surprised that you went for the original version of the second half of the song. Most animatics I’ve seen find a version that’s edited out some of the corrupted portions of the song but I think that it makes sense that you kept them in!

but genuinely though this is so well done, and im glad someone finally used this song for good ol' villbur. i love your artsyle and it compliments this whole thing so well, with the way you draw expressions and surroundings. the entire thing is amazing, but from 2:03 on? just! wow! the dream scene was amazing, it felt like showing how after it all, dream's somehow still the real villain of the server. and seeing how you captured the regret and fear turning into blissful unawareness in ghostbur's eyes?? plus the addition of how the flashing colours in between shots turned from red to yellow to show that he's kind of at peace now, is so fuckin clever, and such a cool detail. i love the grand end shot of the new l'manberg too, it was so pretty. this has to be one of my new favourite animatics i've seen come out of the events on this server.

I love this animation so much. It really feels like the last part of Wilbur’s life flashing before him mixed with the hysteria and chaos going around him and in his mind everything including the musics lines up and makes you really feel what he would have felt as he was bleeding out. This is truly a masterpiece and deserves so much more attention
But can we all take a moment to appreciate that shot of New L'Mannberg at the end there because it is GORGEOUS
This made me realize that Wilbur was weak and Dream manipulated him. (In the story of course) Obviously, his character was not mentally stable, and dream used that to his advantage when he convinced Wilbur to set off the bomb no matter what the results of the war were.
Dream’s character really wakes up every day and thinks, “Hm, which already mentally unstable L’manbergian can I emotionally manipulate today?”

I like that the song on the phone was saline solution! If I'm remembering the right song, I think that's the one with the repeated line of "I think I've lost my mind" Anway, this was a great animatic and I'm glad to hear Hawaii part II songs be used as they are alway fun to hear! This whole thing is just so amazing. The use of color and the music is just so great. 2:05 has got to be my favorite part because, It seems that Dream has and always will be the main villain of the smp, even if sometimes he lays low, helping from the shadows. You did such an amazing job, this has to be a favorite!

I love how Dream is the part where it goes “See how the Serfs work the ground. And they give it all they got” That part really matches his character a lot.

It's insane how good this is, literal chills! You captured Wilbur's insanity arc SO WELL, and Dream being a manipulator was a fantastic touch! The ending got me so emotional, it seems Wilbur is finally at peace :')
The way you edited this song, and changed the animation to fit it as well, just puts this above the rest of the other ones

I was literally thinking about a animatic of l’manberg 4 days ago with THIS song. I KNEW someone was going to do it and I’m so thankful for that. Miracle musical is my favorite band and the mind electric one of my favorite songs. Best crossover there can be.

This may be one of the only comments I’ll leave up on a dsmp related video. This was my former special interest; and I barely remember why I left. I think it was another impulsive, mood swing driven decision out of fear. I remember deleting EVERYTHING I had that was elated to the dsmp obsessively every night, fearfully illuminating it from my life…I don’t remember what I was afraid of, if anything real.
Anyways, this is one of my favorite animatics to come out of this fandom I used to love. This animatic is just perfection, and I can feel emotion through the screen. The use of the song here is never something I thought I’d see…considering Tally Hall is my current special interest, this is a gorgeous culmination of it all. The only thing similar for me about these two special interests is they where both involved with a massive meltdown - where I deliberately changed my special interest from the dsmp as a result of massive e mental pressure, I gained a special interest in Tally Hall after an incident that caused arguably just as much mental destruction.
I suppose this animatic gives personal value and feelings, as it’s not only one of the best quality works from the animation community of the dsmp but it’s also my absolute FAVORITE instance of these two special interests meeting.
Thank you for making this, it gives me the opportunity to finally put all that mental turmoil I’ve built up for more than a year aside. And finally, a proper goodbye from that impulsive destructive decision - and a proper hello to the rest of my interests.

This is really accurate because of how Wilbur is literally losing his mind
`The Mind Electric` is actually a super interesting song (As much as it is all over the place)! The Song was originally (& On Spotify) made backwards, so thats why it might sound a bit weird. It was basically made to make the listener feel like they were in a psychotic state before impending doom; The original meaning of the song was made in perspective of a man being sent to the electric chair. Which i thought was a great song choice for Wilbur's ultimate demise, Him as a ghost is mostly the calm AFTER the storm. (The storm being the unleashed emotional baggage in the form of psychotic behavior, like blowing up L`Manberg. ) The song choice and graphic animation was really eye-catching & overall amazing!
God everytime I watch this the better it gets. I love how much story telling you do with a mixture of the lyrics and your own art. The latter of which being phenomenal with its shifts in color and animation doing a lot of that story telling I mentioned. 10/10 amazing anamatic that not gave me another song to listen to but also displays most of my thoughts on both ghostbur and Wilbur perfectly

@@ultra5403 on the contrary! i think techno fits because while he is against government/structures of it, he's still a VERY powerful force and it's entirely possible that this line could be from multiple perspectives/not Technos. in his essence, he's a bit of a god regardless of if he wants to be in such a position. "cower and pray" relates to that. He's also a hunter, as he is persistent to a fault (and he once gave Quackity a very unsettling history lesson in how humans used to hunt) Coming from a pig, i think "cower and prey" is such a terrifying and commanding line.
I love how this is scrambled. All the events, as well as I think some of the lyrics, are scrambled. Just like the events in Wilbur’s mind. Just like his mentality. It’s chaos.
