    Bug shields surprisingly look good on the 05-07.5 trucks, plus the keep the rock chips down on the hood. You just cat beat the cat eye trucks.

    Bought this truck brand new in 05’ but crew cab 6.0 gasser sold in in 2017 and got a 07’ duramax then sold that last year and just happen to run in to a random old man last week who sadly the state of CA was taking his licsense at 82 (Navy Vet) truck was his baby long story short he let me have it for a steal and it’s super clean starting to build it for my son when he starts to drive 1.5 yr from now. So glad I ran into the old timer I should have never sold my 1st or 2nd one and the new one is cleaner with a 1/3 of the mileage.

    Understandably this video is old, some of us are still considering this option, specifically me. Is there a long term review on this setup, ie, ride quality, reliability, ball joints, steering box... I'm digging this setup and would really like the inside scoop if possible. Thanks

    • @CustomOffsetsTV

      It's a pretty bullet proof setup honestly. Keeps everything in line, and no real added stress to the entire vehicle!

    Do you have a detailed how-to on the full NorCal to make this tire size fit with this lift kit? I have an 02 2500HD and this is the lift and tire setup I want to go with.

    • @bluntman99999
      @bluntman99999 5 лет назад +1

      TruthBlitz Media pretty easy I NorCaled a 05 Silverado, just RUclips some videos of it. Basically you just trim the front bumper a little an make some small cuts towards the back of the front tire an pound the metal back with a hammer an grind any sharp edges then seal it with silicone or a rust primer paint. Worked great on my 05 an took a few hours.

    • @TruthBlitzMedia

    Hey guys I'm new here and love your channel. So I have on 07 GMC classic 2500hd duramax. stock suspension on 285 65 18s. I want to do the 3in zone lift with 305 55 18s instead of 315s like you guys have on B-rad's truck. Will it affect the tie rods at all. I have a buddy who just adjusted only the tie rods and broke them when he put it in 4x4. I use 4x4 a lot and don't want that to happen. Also Do you know if I'll have to do the norcal mod to it or do you think it will fit without much moding (either way I don't really care) Also what tires and wheels would you recommend (keep in mind I do a lot of towing and have towing air bags in the rear) and do you know if the lift will affect the towing bags. Sorry for such a long post. If you guys have an email address of be happy to use that

    • @tman5434
      @tman5434 6 лет назад

      Another quick question. I'm looking at going from chrome to powder coated wheels and the ones im looking at are 8x +18 I believe. what is the difference between the + and -? In other words what would be my lip differance be. Thanks guys

    • @CustomOffsetsTV
      @CustomOffsetsTV  6 лет назад

      Tman, for fitment help check our gallery out here- bit.ly/2bPV7YK
      As for wheels, you should be plenty fine! And lifts normally don't affect much, but shoot us an email to info@customoffsets.com for info with lift kits and bag setups!~

    • @CustomOffsetsTV
      @CustomOffsetsTV  6 лет назад

      + or - is how far it will stick out of the wheel well, the closer to zero, or more negative, the further out it will stick

    How much height difference between the front and the back? Meaning from the ground to the bottom of the wheel well(flair)

    • @jasonboyle7297
      @jasonboyle7297 6 лет назад

      Custom Offsets if you measure the front and rear from the ground to the top of the wheel well(center)on the front axle and the rear axle I meant (sorry)how much of a difference in inches? I just put a zone 2” on my truck and it seems a little high in the rear,I like the rake on Brads truck that’s why I was wondering what the height difference was from the front to rear so I can maybe change my rear block to get that stance

    • @CustomOffsetsTV

      This kit is specific for the Chevy Silverado 2500s

    • @iDrive4fun93
      @iDrive4fun93 4 года назад

      Look up the WULF 3” front and back kit with either the Bilsteins or Pro Comp shocks. The Bilsteins are more expensive but also higher quality. The kit with the Pro Comps is ~$350.00 and the kit with the Bilsteins is ~$500.00

    • @iDrive4fun93
      @iDrive4fun93 4 года назад

      So still pretty budget friendly. I wouldn’t put anything over 33” tires though on a 1500, unless you want them to rub bad, even with the 3” lift, and you still might have to do some minimal trimming depending on the style tire you get. 285/70r17s are a good size tire if you are going for 17” wheels and shouldn’t have clearance issues, again depending on the style tire.
