Thanks man! And you're right, the battle was the toughest part and the last one I recorded, I ended up just improvising and noodling over it and it was tough because I had to keep it somewhat spaced out and make it last haha
I liked how you improvised because there are so many guitar tracks that you have to listen to All the worlds a stage to get a clear picture. Lifeson played very different shapes than the norm. That's what makes him so under rated. Great job!! You're his replacement..lol I've not seen anybody play with that color and Lifeson's feel like you have! And this is coming from a 60 yr old man that got hooked on them when I was 17. First show I saw was Moving Pictures at MSA, Indy. 1981. I went sober to the show. I didn't move because I had to take the whole experience in. I always went sober. This is from a bassist/Keyboardist/Drummer/ guitarist of 42 years. God bless ya! Jeffrey
Good job! My home boys from Toronto! I never thought they would make it when I was a little kid. Being from Canada makes everything harder. Because Canada sucks. Max Webster and Rush were ahead of their time. Alex is using the mixolidian scale in his solo. No one was doing that. Canada produces a lot of talent because we have 2 months of summer and the rest of the year were indoors playing music, guitars, hockey or skiing:)
Thanks man! I know some guys I have done some covers with before, but right now we're all tight with time and the covers take a very long time to finish. But maybe in the future!
Outstanding!
@@rickyriff67 thank you!

The battle is a really tough thing, but all and all nicely done! The solo following the battle and heading into the finale was awesome!

Interesting note: Alex didn’t own a guitar with a vibrato until 1977.
