I started watching your videos because I'm a hard get Night wish fan. I kept recommending Sabaton. Glad to see you came back to them after Bismarck. This was @ WOODSTOCK in Poland on their INDEPENDENCE DAY! The crowd was massive. FUN FACT: The song 40:1 is now the Official song for the Uniformed Education Center in Elk, Poland in 2019!
You really have to react to "LAST STAND!!!" It's probably their most known song. I recommend going to Sabaton History Channel on YT before reacting to their music. There is always an amazing story behind their songs. I really love the story behind this song. My son's are big fans of theirs. And " The Attack of The Dead Men" story is gruesome but heroic. There are so many good ones. Their history channel is narrated by a friend and Historian Indy Neidell. Have fun with History!!!💕🇺🇸

Price of a mile...or Swedish pagants (with Tina, so bad-ass awesome!) someone else wrote a comment on the Wacken site: a story of Polish soldiers, performed by a Swedish band, on a German stage (Wacken is located in Germany), and the lyrics are in English 🤩 For being european, I find that so gorgeous, how our nations come together and remember while celebrating ❤🧡💛

To say that the Poles are fans of the Polish song(s) would perhaps be an understatement ;D
They were invited to Poland by various clubs on various occasions (e.g. when they played a free concert on the anniversary of Polish independence). In addition, they received a quite interesting collection of thank you gifts from Polish dignitaries, including
      - from the archbishop of Gdańsk, an original officer's sabre
      - hand embossed gorge with a Polish eagle from the scouts in Wizna
      - Heraldry of the White Eagle by the Head of the Chancellery of the Polish President
      - Honorary citizenship of Zawady Municipality

Really recommend their official live video of En Livstid i Krig - live in Gothenburg. It is in swedish but I think that only adds to the song as everyone knows and sings the lyrics. ⭐ 'Woodstock in Poland', made this a huge deal. The Polish flag 🇵🇱 rolled out. After the song, the whole crowd sang their Polish Anthem. 💥 💞 AWESOME!!

Fun Fact: It was actually closer to 58 to 1. According to Wikipedia the Battle of Wizna (which the song is about) was 42,200 Germans to an estimated 720 Poles which comes out to 58.6 to 1.
Not so Fun Fact: The commander in charge of the Polish defenses told Polish High Command that he would never surrender. When the Polish troops finally ran out of ammunition he ordered them to surrender and then committed suicide.

You really should react to their live performance of "En livstid i krig" (A lifetime in war) in Gothenburg (Sweden). The song is about the personal struggle, loss and pain of the individual soldier from Sweden travelling down to Germany to fight in the 30-years war. The song is both tragic and beautiful, very powerful, and the fans are just incredible.

The red baron, 82 all the way , the last stand- from the great tour. would be great ones. But to be honest they don't have bad live performances! They are truly a live band. Great in studio but live....incredible! So choose and enjoy! Great reaction as always. Have damn good day!

I imagine being under the flag with the smoke and lights kinda add this battlefield feel to the song.

Price Of A Mile from Wacken 2019. It's more of a ballad, but there's a choir, and it gives me chills every time. Also, emoji game on point, Chase. Just a note about this song, if they don't play it in Poland, the crowd would riot, it's basically their second national anthem

Chase, the reason everybody is so happy is it is ALL ABOUT THE STORY! My friend who has never even heard of Sabaton went to a show with me and he was shocked at how amped up the crowd was FOR EVERY SINGLE SONG! He was lost for words!

I'd not heard of Sabaton until they were announced to be supporting Nightwish in Sydney in 2013. I checked out video clips, didn't get it. On the night they were legendary.

They really know how to make history interesting and fun. Their latest album "The Great War" is a concept album about WW1. Absolutely worth giving it a listen, even on your own and not necessarily as a reaction video.

Perhaps night witches next? There's a recent animated video for it that's pretty cool. (a longer version of it with a short history lesson about the events depicted, another without it)

Whatever you decide to react to from Sabaton, my suggestion is to watch the Sabaton History about it first. Those are ~15 minute videos: ⅔ about the history behind the song, ⅓ an interview with a band member about the song (why it was written, weird behind the scenes facts, etc).
My favorite comment a band member had about 40:1 was something to the effect of: "I don't think we'll be able to leave ... alive ... if we did a concert in Poland without playing 40:1." (Badly paraphrased)

The plan was for Poland to hold Germany for two weeks; France would invade Germany from the west, followed by Britain. France and Britain wussed out. Poland held for FOUR weeks even after the Soviets invaded on Sept. 17th.
