Poles always fight to the end, it is our tradition and honor to fight for the homeland until death and not a step back. Every Pole is taught patriotism from an early age.
You are watching the concert of the charity organization "Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy" - the star of the evening was Sabaton. Look at the musicians' puzzled faces - they didn't know about the flag.
I think they actually put in a little something extra for most of their audiences. Because they have songs that focus on many of the countries that they go to visit, I think they always try to do a little extra something for that particular audience. I know they did here in the United States, and I know that they do in Germany, Russia and definitely in some other places as well. You two will probably love _7 Pillars of Wisdom,_ which covers the story of Lawrence of Arabia. Sabaton has an official music video for it. I would link it, but RUclips keeps blocking any comment I post that has a link. Very frustrating. Anyway, after the video was shot, the members of the band were in a terrible car accident. I'm almost positive it happened in Tunisia, but I could be wrong about that. They were all injured to some degree. The only one not injured is the guy on their Sabaton History Channel who played the role of Lawrence. He had to stay an extra day for taping and so he wasn't in the car with the guys when the accident happened.
Swedish band making polish people proud singing about germans in war in Poland... takes some respect to be able to do that 🇸🇪🤘🇸🇪🤘🍺🤘
