That new section really shows up with the reduced shuffling of the train. Plus the backwards facing gives me so many simply red vibes
Fairground, what a classic.
I love these new POVs with the camera actually fixed to the train, so much better quality than the traditional "shaking all over the place" POV videos.
Thanks Katy, we’re really glad of the opportunity to do these.
going to blackpool in august debating whether i wanna go on this or not 😅
@@harleystubbs6199 Do it! I've been on it hundreds of times, still remember my first go in 1995, I remember watching it being built then having to wait a year until I was tall enough
@@CoasterKaty ok ill see when i get there
@@harleystubbs6199 Did you do it? If so, how was it? I chickened out a few days ago but hopefully next time i go i will go on it!
That was amazing! Great to see a different perspective when you think after years and years you’ve seen everything there is to see
Thank you, it’s a great view and one that’d be impossible to have as a rider
Love this new format. It captures much. BPB has done an amazing job of fitting it all in.
It’s so good how they’ve got multiple rides crossing over and around each other
Thankyou Scott videos like this i find them relaxing
Thank you 😊
The amount of visible roughness is so funny 😂😂😂
Roughness? You mean the train moving as it passes through the track, exactly how it looks when you are standing on a train and look back/forward to the other carriages which can be seen moving about.
@@yourexperienceguide Yes, exactly the right way of putting it, thanks! I just find it hilarious as you don't really see that on major coasters these days, which is highlighted by the lack of said "roughness" over the new track.
@@samraymond4464 I don’t really understand how this coaster manages to be rough in a straight line 🤣
@@marktrenfield arrow magic
Really cool video. Perspective is everything.
Thank you 😊
I have such a soft spot for this ride. Such a guilty pleasure.
Still one of the best coasters we have in the UK
I am the kid in the profile pic and I have done the big one and so fun and smooth!
Yes! Been waiting for this 👍👍
Hope it was worth the wait ☺️
@@yourexperienceguide Yep 👍 really interesting perspective seeing the back carriages get flung over like that
@@evehosgood Thank you for watching and commenting 😀
Send it 👍 couldn't get on this yesterday but have ordered some PBE merch whilst the free shipping deal is on. Good video, interesting POV
Thanks Daniel for your support and video comment ☺️
This is so awesome!!😊
Thank you for watching and commenting 😄
I can’t wait to ride this again soon hopefully 😩😩😭💓💓💓💓
Thanks for watching and commenting
This looks great!
Thanks for watching and commenting ☺️
Superb !!
Thank you for watching and commenting
Great video!
Thanks Preston
god i never realised the trains shuffled around so much lol, especially when you see newer rides which dont do it much at all
Thank you for watching and commenting
Please please please
You must do one of these backwards videos on the Revolution !!! You wouldn't know if you are coming or going
Thanks for watching and commenting
Oh wow love this when I come on my birthday to think I’ll show my mate the video as he thinking about going onit it’s just the drop he warey of what understandable good video again :)
Thanks for watching Chris ☺️
It would be interesting to have the back car facing backwards for a while, great upload and soundtrack Scott keep up the good work mate 👍🎢👍🎢👍🎢
I don't think it could be done, but I do love the views from the front looking back on the train. Thanks Colin.
It's funny to see all the cars shuggling around on the track, something you very rarely see on other on ride videos.
I really do like the perspective of seeing the train passes through the circuit
I went on this yesterday with 2 amazing seats once at the back and once behind Scott and in front of Mike.
Hope you had a good day at the Pleasure Beach
You can really see how close to the framework of the other coasters it is.
Yeah, lots of interactions on PMBO!
I watched this being built in 1993,still have footage from the old Hi 8 camcorder when the large crane was lifting sections of steel, they had to close the road.Lots of people were watching.I was there on the first day it opened in 1994 and rode it twice,I remember saying to Geaffrey Thomspon when I came off the ride saying that was amazing. They change the first drop in 1997,steeper at the bottom.Still popular today because of it size and height.
Popular because of its height, speed and the fact it's a quality coaster.
Wow! Love it. Thanks for posting. I'd have enjoyed hearing the coaster noises a bit more with music levels dropped slightly, however that's just my personal preference.
The music is the Big One‘s soundtrack, and it was either that or the overpowering noise of the wind, I asked for feedback on both versions before uploading. I don’t really like putting music over POVs but on this occasion felt it was for the best, the noise from the wind and our camera mount would have done people’s heads in I think, something we’ll improve on. Thank you for watching and commenting 😀
Still to this day my favourite roller coaster... and porta Ventura has got amazing roller coasters aswell but the big one has a special place in my heart
Iconic coaster that’ll always make me smile after a lap on it 😀
@@yourexperienceguide 100% fact.....it always has that effect on me!...great video 👍
Yeah this is cool! You can really see how the train jolts side to side
It’s fascinating to see the movements of each carriage
it's a bit of a bone shaker most of it like u can see the difference with new section like no big jolts or big side to side bumps
That's a great POV
Thank you
I can go on this ride but can’t walk up the steps on revolution 😂
The same!
@@elizabethcarroll7987 my legs walk off my body’s lol so I have to get down
I think a lot of people have a similar view to be honest
Anyone else think it looks way better backwards 🤩.
Those boys from sc media ain’t too shabby are they .?😉😏🧱👍🏼great vid
They’re quite good 😆
@@yourexperienceguide 😉
Nice video!
Thank you 😊
That looks ace!
Thank you! I really do enjoy seeing the motion of the train passing through the layout
@@yourexperienceguide me too! 👍🏻
I wish they have a backwards train so we can ride backwards! Also, I like to see the view of Blackpool Pleasure Beach on Big One.
I don’t think it’ll ever happen and as a ride experience it wouldn’t be great either.
That would be mental lol but really uncomfortable but I wouod try it lol
Imagine thr bavk seats of big one facing the back that would be sick going downnthe first drop
Watching that made the drops not look too bad but the climb very scary!I'm not scared of heights but I would be on that!
Got stuck on that 3-4 years ago had to walk down, not nice, got free park tickets though
A great experience I bet
now all we need is an infusion reverse pov 💃💃💃 also 100th like
Interesting idea but we can give it a shot 😉
@@yourexperienceguide would be so cool to see it trains looping haha
@@ilomiloluver6 It’s definitely going to be one of the next coasters we film, just not sure what content we’ll get from it yet but looking forward to it.
@@yourexperienceguide looking forward to it!!
When doing these videos are you confident enough in the camera clamp used, or do you ever think " I hope the camera comes back in one piece"? :D Awesome videos by the way. Love the new perspectives.
Hi, there was 5 points of attachment so we were 100% confident the camera would return home ☺️ Thank you for watching and commenting 😀
Nice 👍
Thank you 🎢
Cool
Thanks for watching and commenting ☺️
@@yourexperienceguide no problem 😁
Ive never looked at it from behind before, because ime always facing forwards.
I’ve looked behind but never the whole way
OMG Imagine if Pleasure beach ever ran the back carriage with reverse facing seats in it! Would certainly be a different experience!
@@mikkdc yes yes most definitely you got something there. But the only thing I think is that mrs Amanda finds out or reads this
Guarantee it will be double the price 😂😆
@@yourexperienceguide to could have a new logo saying don't look back.or is alton towers better with don't look down ?
@@andymountain130 Or "Fear the Rear" 😂😂
Does anyone know how you’re strapped in on the Big One? I’m not great with rollercoasters but I’d like to try it
Lap bar and seat belt
I remember going on This 12 times on its opening weekend
In 1994?
@@yourexperienceguide Pepsi max
@@bullyinspace I know which ride you mean, but I’m asking if you mean in 1994? Or the recent opening weekend?
@@yourexperienceguide oh. The original one. 1994. I was 15
Early!
Did you enjoy it?
@@yourexperienceguide yup and this year I am actually going on the big one for the first time!
Wouldn't be great if they had a day on The Big One with all the seats reversed? I'd most definitely ride it 👍👍👍
It's a good idea in theory but in practise I think it'd be too forceful and not an enjoyable experience
If only the actual ride did go backwards 👀 would be the wildest coaster on the planet haha.
I just don’t think it’s practical
@@yourexperienceguide Yeah I do agree with you because folk would be coming out of the cars lol
Name of the music track please
The Big One’s soundtrack
Is the BO the only thrill rollercoaster in the UK to have a mid course break run?
Apart from Wild Mice, single car coasters, Eurofighters and rides with mid-course lifts, I can't think of any that have a long train with a mid-course like the Big One now that you come to mention it. Maybe I'm missing something obvious though.
To be honest there's not that many, hadn't really thought about it
Would like to no what the song is
Big One's soundtrack
I'd love to face backward on this ride. If it were technically possible to have 1 train normal and 1 facing backwards, it would be nuts. No idea where the drops are and all you see at the first drop is sky.
It's a good idea in theory but in practise I think it'd be too forceful and not an enjoyable experience
So it's open again? ??
What memebrship price anyone ??
They've been open for a month
Could they turn it around and let us ride backwards.
Early
Did you enjoy the video?
@@yourexperienceguide Yes it was really good! Im going to the Pleasure Beach this Saturday 8th May so i cant wait to get back on this ride ❤️
How u get on backwards
Fitted the camera to face backwards
Really want to go to Blackpool pleasure Beach but unsure because of amount of bad reviews and covid and distancing on TripAdvisor 904 I know you get great value but for non riders it is a lot tickets need to be cheaper like £19.50 all other themeparks like thorpe park, Chessington and alton towers are so much cheaper. Blackpool pleasure Beach need to keep an eye on their reviews and try to do that bit better. 🙁
Not a chance on earth are Pleasure Beach going to charge £19.50, good luck visiting any theme park with ten roller coasters for that price. Take a 12 hour day as an example, £44 for 12 hours entertainment is cracking value, for context people pay more for football matches which last 90 minutes. You won't get a 12 hour day at Alton Towers, Thorpe Park or Chessington. Also, it’s the year of the staycation, expect all UK attractions to have a higher price at peak times
Pleasure Beach can only do so much to control social distancing, stay at home if you're scared of the virus.
@@yourexperienceguide £30 or under then may go after everyone is vaccinated with covid jabs.
Could they reversea section
Clever video
I think it’d be too forceful, and thank you
@@yourexperienceguide id love infusion to be free of the roughness its wasted energy
They may add x2 seats engineers are genius

Thank you for watching and commenting
Great video, would have prefered to just hear the coaster sounds though instead of the music.
@@yourexperienceguide Thank you for your reply mate, I didn't mean it as a critcism tbh, more an observation. All the best to you and the channel.
It was sm more faster when I went on it yesterday
This will be slower as it’s empty
@@evehosgood oh ty
@@evehosgood Not true, it usually runs faster with an empty sandbagged train than a full train or people. Less drag for starters.
It was on top form yesterday due to a lack of wind ☺️
@@yourexperienceguide My bad 🤦♀️
Can you upload without music please?
The music is the Big One‘s soundtrack, and it was either that or the overpowering noise of the wind. I uploaded both and asked for opinions on both whilst they were unlisted before deciding which was uploaded publicly.
@@yourexperienceguide Why didn't you put music over the top of the overpowering chain lift too ;)? Overpowering wind is surely part of the experience. You don't normally put music on your POVs do you? All I'm saying is I hope you don't make it a permanent fixture, for my personal taste. I'm enjoying the videos lately anyway!
@@MusicRelatedCandy Because the lift hill is an iconic sound of the Pleasure Beach. It will not be a regular thing but if I’d have uploaded without the music I’d have had complaints over how the audio sounded, this was based off feedback I received by sending it out to people beforehand.
@@yourexperienceguide Fair enough. It's a pretty trivial gripe which I'm sure I can live with! :D
