Once again, looks like you all had a great time at Sandown Toy Fair. The last time you were there, I left a comment saying they're looked like there was a lot of 60's/70's toys there and this time it looked like there was even more!! Absolutely fantastic! Loved the Boxed Bravestarr figures and May Dates gun is awesome!
Shabby, loads of 60s/70s this time. Quite a few grails of mine too - Bigfoot, that Shogun Godzilla but they were big bucks!! They still sold though. Yeah, those Bravestarr were lovely, but I was so pleased to find the Mayday gun!! Really want to find the Octopussy Spin Saw but that's also big boy money 🤣
No wonder its your fav Dave 😄Over 500 stalls blows my mind! And the amount of vintage just blows my mind 🤩Those A-Team rack toys look like theyre straight from a rack in 1984 😄 Glad you got to meet the Ed and Grecko and NARC and Matti 🙂Great toy hunt video Dave 👍

Another wonderful video from Sandown toy fair. I saw the price on the star wars droids Tig Fromm WOW!!! So many lines out there to collect like Buck Rogers, Chips & MASH. Great video once again.

They're really cool, it wasn't until about a year ago or so that I started getting into them. Interesting to see The(non-marvel) Avengers toys, that dart-cane was sweet. Boy George being "The outrageous boy of rock?" always makes me laugh, he definitely leaned into brand marketing when you consider his A-team episode heh. Sweet A-team toys btw, the carded aspect will look nice displayed on the wall. Nice LJN Dune pickup, I was just looking up "the worm" recently so neat to see it out of the box. Not taken the plunge yet but good to hear which accessories they come with for hunting. ReAction ones aren't bad, next to Alien those are attractive to me. 13:20 That UFO Ellis figure is pretty nice albeit pricey. Hmm ABBA dolls, have to show my Mum that.😉 Wow quite the outing and seeing all those collectors at the same time sounds cool. Lots of cool stuff but right at the end that Mego Ali would have been something I'd likely have bought from that show.

I love Sandown because of the array of stuff, but timing always seems a bad fit for me and I haven’t made it for a couple of years. Loved those minty Karate Kid figures 👌
Definitely worth a visit if you can! It's not often you see Karate Kid like that at shows, especially with the accessories. If I didn't have them, I would have picked them up 👍

Hey Ed! 👍 At the NEC one of the dealers had The Blank - I'd never seen one before in person but that has sparked my interest in the Dick Tracy line. Mind you, the price of that Blank puts me off again 🤣 However, am loving collecting LJN Dune! Yeah, the Sandworm demands a fair wack for what it is, but you don't see them too often. The figures are great!!!
I got both of the Dune guns for £50 a piece MIMP back in the good old days (about 10 years ago). I couldn’t resist opening them, and can inform you that they both sound awful
@@VintageToyRush very fun toys. Weirdly, the metal ties that hold the guns on the backing card were reinforced with strips of card LJN had recycled from a mysterious robot toy that I couldn’t identify
I think you're right, the die-cast generation is slowly edging out of collecting. There's still a fair amount of it at the shows but I don't record on video, unless it's Bond related 👍

Awesome pickups, the Dune line looks great. I had a few Battle Beasts as a kid, not sure I will jump down another rabbit hole with those, lol.

I love Sandown because of the array of stuff, but timing always seems a bad fit for me and I haven’t made it for a couple of years. Loved those minty Karate Kid figures 👌
Definitely worth a visit if you can! It's not often you see Karate Kid like that at shows, especially with the accessories. If I didn't have them, I would have picked them up 👍

Hey Ed! 👍 At the NEC one of the dealers had The Blank - I'd never seen one before in person but that has sparked my interest in the Dick Tracy line. Mind you, the price of that Blank puts me off again 🤣 However, am loving collecting LJN Dune! Yeah, the Sandworm demands a fair wack for what it is, but you don't see them too often. The figures are great!!!

I got both of the Dune guns for £50 a piece MIMP back in the good old days (about 10 years ago). I couldn’t resist opening them, and can inform you that they both sound awful

I'm an 80s child, but I never liked the plastic , character, TV , star wars, Superheros toys etc....
I think you're right, the die-cast generation is slowly edging out of collecting. There's still a fair amount of it at the shows but I don't record on video, unless it's Bond related 👍
