eBay has this amazing light for less than $40.00 delivered! I just ordered one. I am familiar with the software it comes with and they give you excellent instructions on how many clicks does what so get into the FlashOholic Game and become addicted to one of the most fun hobbies out there!

Me. The candle light with diffusor is brilliant, the ramping, Momentary i use often. Some of the "strobe-effects" are useless for Sure. But anduril is useful when you can handle it.

From lock mode triple click and then double click you can adjust the green light on or off
When you click 4 Times you are in Lockout. There you have 2 steps of Momentary light. Klick and hold (Low) and double-klick and hold (brighter).
You can adjust these 2 steps. They are the lowest steps of smooth ramping (1 Klick) and stepped ramping (2 Klicks). Very useful.
Is there a clock on it?
Flashing 11 times, and then 45 times, and you know it's a quarter to 12.

I have a small LED Flashlight (Torch). When the battery power hits a certain level, the flashlight just stops working. No warning or dimming light.
So, carry extra batteries, in case you are deep in a dark place! Happy Halloween!
Anduril takes a bit to learn but once mastered its easy, i can do it all from memory now.
They make some really bright LEDs nowadays.
Only difference is how you implement them.
They could make so many modes on a flashlight as you can think of.
And they could make it programmable via Bluetooth on your smartphone.
Most important thing for me is: How far will it shine, and how long will the battery last.
And a magnet to stick it to something.
Things like "To get into strobe mode: Click 5 times, wait 2 seconds, and then 3 times" I don't like.

Tactical mode - can be used to irritate people.
I could use tactical mode down the chip shop Friday night there's always a massive queue

Looks interesting but so far Olight has sold me 4 of thier lights. I need a few more that can take the recoil of a rifle. I worry about the computer system in those lights. I will have to do some research. Thanks for showing us thier product and I hope they send you more to test out. Nothing beats free.

Pretty sure the temp setting is to ajust the preset ramp down from turbo, it's set low by default.
temp setting is ambient temp adjust. And you can raise the temp before stepdown while its hot on thermal stepdown as well.
That looks a great torch but I think I would find all the clicking a bit of a pain. Thanks guys for the review.
anduril 2 ui is complicated at first but easy to get used to after. not intuitive, but great features for the price

I have a pair of Acebeam L30 throwers and they use one LED and the same battery for 4000 lumins.

The lightning mode in those tunnels reminded me of the flashes you see in the film Battle of Britain during the blitz. You should make that end scene again with bomb dropping sounds and explosions.
It's great that it supports the larger Batteries but it's only a single battery, you don't want to be changing Batteries in the sort of darkness you get underground! I tend to look for a minimum of two batteries! My torch only supports the 18650 Batteries but it takes two of them and at 3500mah they have a really long on time!
To many complicated button presses to find what you need isn't the sort of torch you need when underground.
The torches based on the XHP160 led will turn night into day and they come in the two battery setup and they also support both battery types too, and being from eBay it's probably cheaper than than that little multiple click thing.
Finix makes a awesome flashlight and usely good prices

Too complicated for this old sod. I like a torch that uses everyday batteries which I can carry a couple spares if needed. I also like a simple on-off rear button with a focus lens. That's it but unfortunately, no one sells anything like that. Oh well, I better get with the program eh. Thanks for the review Ian. Cheers mate!

You are talking about any none rechargeable. None rechargeable are normally click and go because they are cheap stuff. Just take a look at any aa flashlight
@@itanamullik With rechargeable flashlights, you're paying for the battery. Not the actual flashlight itself. I have a Coast G55 that cost me about $60.00 and uses 4 Alkaline AAA batteries (I can also use Lithium rechargeable ones).

@@IKS-Exploration i think there are 4 possible setings, Low Green, bright Green, flashing, off. While in am fishing i use the bright knob-light for orientation.
Not a touch on my 6 D cell maglite... 1on 1off and lasts a lot longer. And it can be used as self defence aah.

It looks good and bright but it seems to have way too many functions. Once you add the discount it's about £35 which is more than double the price my cree2 led torch cost. If you're going to have a tactical strobe function I'd like to see a crenelated bezel so you can use it for striking someone if you have to, which this torch doesn't have. If it was a bit simpler with the modes and could be used for defence I'd definitely be interested in one but in this case I think less is more and I'll stick with my cree2 led torch. Its an interesting bit of kit though, just more complicated than it needs to be.
it certainly pees all over the service station 'one milion candle power' jobbies that last 20 minutes -- and it fits in a pocket.
