I went to see her perform last week after a friend invited me. I did not know who Tanya was She absolutely blew my mind away. Not only she is ridiculously talented , but she is incredibly nice and so down to earth. I tell you, it was one of the best piano performances I saw. She is the best !!!!!!
Stupendous playing. Exquisitely musical at the same time that it is superbly articulated and virtuosic. Interestingly sparing use of the pedal. There is a quote from Liszt's 13th Hungarian Rhapsody in this work. The piano's fallboard looks battle scarred but the instrument sounds perfect for the piece. I've never heard of this pianist but she is terrific.
cuz of the pizz. dat violin can play n violin can't .. . but den playing piano for this Music is also okay..... the phrasing is beautiful and is very smooth and it has a lot of techniques inside
legacy I love both versions I only play piano. Maybe I should learn violin as well so I can play the violin version it sounds like a very fun piece to play
That part is actually a different piece entirely. It's a Hungarian folk melody called "Csak egy kislany van a vilagon". I can pm you a piano transcription if you like.
@@toomanynumbers Thanks so much, but you should publish your arrangement. Also, octaves have eluded me my entire life (6 to 69) while I am home doing insane leaps! (go figure). A hint in 10 words or less?
@@NoferTrunions try flattening out your palm to help stretch out the fingers. You can practice against a flat surface like a tabletop. Sorry if this isn't much help, octaves never were much of an obstacle, large hands and whatnot. Also it's not my transcription, it's from the Yamaha book that came with my piano 30 years ago. Good luck!
Amazing playing and arrangement Really well done Can i have a copy of the sheet music if its available for download or purchase Many thanks Love your playing
Here it is (though I'm not sure if it's the exact one she played): ks.petruccimusiclibrary.org/files/imglnks/usimg/7/7d/IMSLP12848-Sarasate-Bensch_(1914)_Ziguenerweisen.pdf

Who's arragenment is this? Did you arrange it yourself? It's quite different from the one I know (Berthe Marx-Goldschmidt) but I love this arrangement just as much. Well played!
When the violinist doesn’t show up and you have to carry the whole piece
Lol! SoHyun Ko would never😂💗
@@Phymacss Have you listened to Maria's performance by any chance? It's very nice.
I’m truly disappointed at how underrated this is..
This is a masterpiece, Tanya.
Sadly people like these dont get the recognition they deserve and nicki minaj millions , what a sad world we live in

As a solo performance, this is the best one on RUclips, enough inspuration got me to practice, not an easy piece. Thanks for sharing.

Это тот случай,когда фортепиано не может заменить скрипку.
