First of all it's thanks to Smug's open minded attitude. From what I've seen there are a lot of young fg fans that don't feel like playing even the old version of a franchise he loves, like SF2, SFA, early Marvel, early KoF, classic MK, etc. So it's amazing he got into old fgs, and even into old fgs not made by Capcom - much more incredible. He already played old MKs and old KoFs on fightcade.

I am old G and seeing a new G like Smug playing the older games made me respect him even more. This is something i rarely see the NEW G do. Great sportmanship . I am sure he will level up fast with that kind of attitude even w.hen he loses a lot. He can adapt and learn fast . Hope to see him giving Justin and the pros a much tougher and better fight .
Boxer is incredible in this iteration of Street fighter. Holding back+left as well as the three kick buttons allows you store so many moves. Even if you block them all. They do a decent amount of chip damage and you're going to be wide open for a head grab, which can be used to charge up all the previous moves.
One of the things I like about Super Turbo that makes it so drastically different from other fighting games is matches are super quick, but it's super duper matchup dependent. Allows you to play a whole bunch of matches in a row and swap characters between. Gives it a really different feel to other more modern fighters. Not that I'm any good at it mind you.
